Too many unwanted calls

It is Capital One.  They are doing same thing with me.  Call your State Attny General's Office, dept of consumer affai5rs and report them, like I did.

It is illegal in Ohio, to call and just hangup when we pickup for debt collection.  They are hoping we are dumb enough to call back and pay for the call.

I really don't know that this is Capital One. It seems like a fraud number to me. I continue to get hang up calls from this number. If you call back, you can't even get a representative on the phone and it only asks you to enter a full SSN or account number. I called one of the numbers listed above to see about being removed from the call list (as this is my place of employment and I have no accounts with Capital One) and the women that answered said she couldn't help me unless I provided her with my full SSN and was unwilling to let me speak with her supervisor. I finally got fed up talking with her, went to the Capital One website and found a number there. When I called that number, the representative said he would be glad to help me add the number to the Capital One do not call list. The 972.378.3660 number sure seems suspicious!

I want this number to stop calling us. We are investigating the possibility of taking legal action & we are in the process to get this number traced, working with the phone company.

Please post your findings if you can. I continue to get hang up calls as well!

this is just stupid. I DO have an auto loan with CapitolOne Auto Finance and when I answered the call this morning the person asked for me and when I responded by saying, "who's calling?" she hung up on me. WTF.

Seems like every time we get a new phone, we get a lot of spam calls. I get one from Florida, my wife gets one from Texas. no idea how to stop it except ignore it. I texted back once and told them I do not know them. haven't heard back since, that I know of. I don't always keep my phone with me. Very frustrating.

Keep getting a call from 972-378-3660.

I have been getting several calls from this number, leaves no message, Kind of agitating.

Its Capital One Auto Finance.  Its highly annoying.  I have an auto-block on my phone, and they still continue to call and leave prerecorded voice messages.  They stopped calling me for about a month, then started up again, and continue to process.  They call me about every other hour, sometimes every hour during the noon/evening hours.  Its really pissing me off.  I'm getting so many wacky numbers calling me and not leaving me messages now, ugh!

Capital One calls as early as 8am eastern time and their head quaters is central time! I asked tha they stop calling me becasue I normally sleep until 9am because I work later in the AM, the rep I spoke with denied that they call that early in the AM! They call repeated times throughout the day no less than 3 times and and sometimes 3 times in a row. They never leave messages.  You usually do not get a live person when calling this number back unless you feel like holding 5 minutes or longer and often have to be redirected.  Don't fiance through Capital One you will litterally lose sleep becasue they have no common courtsey to leave and no grasp on the concept that people sleep and work.  If they are blowing up your mobile phone, ask your wireless provider to block this number, I just did.

This number called me multiple times. It turned out to be Capital One to discuss the auto loan I had just opened. They were trying to contact me for my welcome call.

Its Capital One Auto Finance.  They've been using two numbers now to call me.  Its highly annoying.  Also, when a voice message is actually left, there's three different ones they use.  Two are males voices, the other is female.  They seem to call me two to four times a day, every day, for about a month, then stop and then start up again.  Is there a way to file something for harassment?  I'm even on the Do Not Call List.. and this is the only number that calls me.

Tired of receiving calls all times of the morning and late at night

I receive at LEAST 4 calls a day from these people and this is after I have repeatedly told them that I'm on the DNC, the person they keep asking for, this isn't their number and to stop calling my cell phone. They never leave a message and now when I do answer, they just sit there without saying a word. I have reported them to the FCC, but I doubt this will do much if anything.
