- Jai from FLI have actually worked for this company before. They recruited me for a work at home position with a top fortune 100 computer company. I worked for them for about 6 months but was laid off due to contractor cut backs. If you want something short term they are fine to work for. I had no problems getting paid, and it was very nice to work from home for a while. They provided the laptop, etc. for the job promptly also.
The recruiters are very hard to understand so typically I just tell them to send me an email with the info.- Caller: Artech Information Systems
- Artechgot a call on my cell and did not leave any voice messages.!!!
- SCYep, thick Indian accent, bad call quality, I called back immediately and was sent to voice mail. Fairly sure they got my info from Monster. Sounds rather shady to me.

- ajI work contracts at Microsoft so I do job-hunting every year. In 2007 I got a few contacts from this company but nothing out of the ordinary. After my last round of unemployment, I've decided that I would NEVER consider a position through this agency.
I posted my resume on Monster in September 2008. I started my current contract in April 2009. During that period of time, I received endless numbers of calls, some as early as 6 or 7 am. I was not eligible to be submitted for Microsoft openings again until January, but the company kept calling me about Microsoft openings. Never once did they seem to actually submit my resume, and I never had an interview through them. I would get constantly spammed by them in email, sometimes different recruiters would send me the same exact job opening. It was so bad I had to set up a filter so that all emails coming from them go directly into the trash.
After I started my current position, the calls kept coming, and I went to the extent of removing all my contact information from Monster.com, but that has not stopped the calls. I got another call today.
In the three years I've been working at Microsoft, I have only come across one person who worked through through Artech. Even if you are looking for a job, ignore these people. They obviously only care about quotas and will do nothing to actually get you a job. - Jianina Pagliarini| 1 replyAsked for #SSN over the phone. did not give. sent follow up letter for confirmation of employment rate. Needed #SSN for background check.
Is this legit?
I have been out of work for 60 weeks. Should I investigate their validity?

- BobThey are contantly calling me about technical positions. They are very rude, pushy and hard to understand. I hang up on them and they just call back immediately after I hang up. I believe that are calling from India and representing themselves as being in the US. The caller id shows 973-993-9593 but with certain technologies you can blindly network a call to any location anywhere.
- Carolinegot same live and voice mail call from woman with thick Indian accent, could hardly understand her; simply told her I already have a job, she hung up fast.
- Caller: 973-993-9383
- didn't fall for it973-993-9583, Got a call from this number today. Did not answer because I was busy. They left a voicemail but I could not understand the woman at all. Almost sounded like a recording. Within a few moments, I received a text message from the same number telling me to call 888-894-5146. I googled the phone number in which the text message told me to call. It came up as a SCAM number. They tell you that someone in INDIA is using your credit card and charging it like crazy. They then ask for your credit card number. I called my service provider and they informed me that they are working with the police to find out who is behind this. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They are trying to scam you big time.
- Cyberbytenumber called my cell - interestinly enought. left a message about a job migrating users from one AD server to another in PA (8 states away). Man's name was Amit Saini and he does work for artechinfo.com (Amit_Saini@artechinfo.com)
I will call again and follow up with my finding on this post. I agree. In this enonomy, I am looking at any opportunity to work, but I hope this is not a phishing scam.- Caller: Artech Info
- Bob So CalI almost submitted my Info to them but something told me this is not Legit.

Yashi_Srivastava@artechinfo.com - DuckyJust came across this today.
Interestingly.. the female "recruiter" (Indian or Pakistani according to my relative) called a phone number that I haven't been at in over 3 years! They must have found a resume somewhere (not monster, Career Builder or Dice - of those I know these resumes have been changed) that still had my info from 4 states ago.
I'll definitely be wary and tell my relatives to ignore it (thankfully they didn't pick up) - JessicaI had a call from them back in September. I am actually set to start work thru them next week. The pay is actually good for me. It's not a scam, but yes they are very pushy. I will post something next week and let everyone know how it goes
- Stefanie| 2 repliesI've been getting phone messages from these people as well. I figured they were just a temp agency so I never returned the calls. It seemed odd to me that they were so persistent about getting a hold of me. As a hiring manager myself I never try to contact anyone more than twice. I figure if they don't call me back then they don't need the job. I got a funny feeling about these guys and i'm glad I didn't waste my time.

- Anne F.Thank you for your posts...I received a similar call with email today. Once they asked for my name as it appeared on my social security card and social security number, I stated that I would not be able to provide this information over the telephone.
They then offered to transfer me to their supervisor if I did not feel comfortable sharing this information with them directly.
How would this make me feel comfortable? I politely declined and stated the only personal information I would share would be face-to-face upon acceptance of an actual offer.
The call shortly ended(obviously)afterwards and I have alerted my credit bureaus.
Any other information on how to prevent an on-going headache from this company would be helpful.

- Consultant for Artech| 4 repliesFirst of all, I'm a consultant for Artech and it is not a scam that they are asking for your SS#. It is required by the client that your give the last four digits NOT your whole SS#. I've worked with the same client through other firms and they also ask for this information. You are all idiots and love drama!
- KevinSame as everyone else, could not understand a word they were saying. Asked to speak with someone else because of the communication issue. She would not let me speak with anyone else, so I hung up on her. Alerted my cell provider and had the number blocked.
- DWHello to the Artech consultant and other contract employees of Artech. Please do not spread your BS on this site on any other sites. This is the type of crap that has hurt American workers and helped to move jobs off shore. We need to tell these companies that do business through foreign telemarketing to shove off. If a company cannot hire persons in the US to recruit for them they have no business going overseas and hiring people for pennies to call and harrass Americans. This has gotten out of hand and needs to stop! This is just more of large US corporations making money hand over fist and paying their executives enormous slaries and paying the people that do the work the cheapest wage they can. I think enough is enough with companies that use foreign telemarketing for customer service and support for Americans. If they want to support the people in other countries I see no problem but if you are an American company you should have American cusotmer service representatives for the products and services you sell in America.
- GuanabayI have been receiving a number of calls from numbers in New Jersey, 973 975 0686, 908 315 0431, 732 596 1682 and 973 993 9383. All seem to be "recruiters" with Indian accents, it also appears to be a call center in the background. You can hear may people talking, like a boiler room of sorts. One person asked for my social, which I was not happy about, I did not provide it. The calls ended. That saying "Never give personal information to people on the phone" kept ringing in my ears. I did not want to end up on the 6 o'clock news telling my sob story about what an idiot I was to give out my personal info. I just felt uneasy speaking to any of them.
I will stick with the recruiters here in Boston, thank you. - nilarmstrongI was Employee of Artech. Artech Company does not gave salary to contract employee.
Now they are harassing for last three month for the salary and experience letter.
