I also received the same text, although it was a different email address. geoffreyhunt652@yahoo.co.uk how can I stop these kind of texts?

My husband and I also recived texts like this within minutes of eachother. Different email. Why did we get these?????

Note* when I checked my husbands phone he also recives text updats on his phone account balance (he has pay as you go) from that phine # 999-999-9999. So I don't know who this geofferey is but it is weird.

i just got a text msg from Mr. Geoffrey Hunt saying my mobile number has won 1,000,000. and to contact him with my ref# via email geoffreyhunt01@hotmail.com .. like what is this, how did they get my number

I have been receiving calls from 999-999-9999.  I simply don't answer a number I don't recognize.  There is never a message left.  Wierd number.  Anyone know who it might be?

its a waste of time , info getter's ,its a scam i am sure ,a call from 999-999-9999 who has such a number .all they do is hang up , so they just call to waste your time,,or hard earned money , maybe they should go get a job  and yes there are people who make money by calling you just to get your number locked in , , ,,but be advised there are numbers i am not going to say them , that if you pick up they can charge you on your cell ,land line phone that can cost you thousands of dollars with just by picking up  and not to mention they can enter  numbers and call from your phone number to anywhere with out you knowing it from another phone , and you will have to pay it,,, as the phone company will not take it off your bill , don't know who it is let them leave a message and be careful who you call back ,,,,,,

This number never shows up on our caller ID - it simply says, "out of the area".  They usually call and hang up because we ignore any unidentifiable phone #.  This time it being Sunday MORNING, I decided
to beat them to the punch and find out what's so important that they are calling on a SUNDAY!
The girl on the other end pretended to know me, calling me by first name.  That doesn't phase me so
I simply replied "who's calling?" She begins to rattle into a speal about NTI or MTI national clearing house something or other.  I told her she was INTERRUPTING us in the midst of something important and I would appreciate the removal of our NAME and PHONE # from their call list.  No apologies, she simply hung up on me.  I got on your website and see it is a SCAM to bilk folks receiving disability off Social
Security.  How she got our name and number is beyond me because I am gainfully employed - owning
two businesses!

Got a call from 999-999-9999 on 5/24 did not answer. caller ID said Name Not Found.

This number has called me everyday for the past two weeks. I never answer because I don't know who it is. It kind of freaks me out because the other day I got a call from someone with the 999 area code and it was some guy speaking Arabic or something.... All I know is that I couldn't understand anything he was saying

TV showed 999-999-9999 person unavailable.  Answering machine picked up.  Caller was a woman from Merchants tire

I get a call from this number once a day. No one is on the line and they never leave a message. I have been ignoring the call but it's annoying.

This number came up on the caller ID on my cell phone.  I called it back and Verizon came on stating the number was disconnected, changed, etc.  Calls at least 6 ~ 7 times a week lately!  Will never answer!!!

I ws getting calls from 999-999-9999 every day, sometimes twice a day.  I have never answered, but the calls were getting annoying.  I added it to my blocked number list, through my verizon account, and they have finally stopped for now.

What happens is it tracks you pc looking for info address email and provider and charges you. So what you do is pick it up and press # for about 15-25 sec it will confuse the tracker. It should not call again if it dose do the same thing.

I just recieved a call from 1-999-999-9999 no vm, but i called it back and it said code not reconized. Not valid number. Ghosts maybey lol I'm with Sprint BTW.

I have received a phone call from the number 1(999)999-9999. This number called my cell phone, I had missed the call, then I had got a voice mail. I listened to it, but there was no message, just about 10 sec. of nothing.  I have reason to believe it is from a prank caller/hacker who's name is Justin DePolis. Although, not confirmed.

Also, I did call it back, only to here an automated message that said this number was no longer in service.

TELUS it's 99999 and the other one it's 9999999999
