999-999-9999

I keep getting calls from this number, it shows up unknown, and then comes up at 1-999-999-9999 through "TrapCall" service i have setup....when i pickup i hear ntohing, and if I say anything, i hear a "beep" then it disconnects. This has been happening 4-5 tiems a day and 2 days in a row. What the hell is goin on and who can I complain too? T-Mobile (my cell provider) said they aren't even registering teh calls in their system, and it doesnt show up?

From the 999 number, i have received a few voicemails about some apparent "business" with them, yet they never state what the business is, or any other identifying clue other than they know my name and number, and i know their first name. Usually the one who calls me is brian, i want to say? I've also gotten one from a female voice, but i do not remember her name.  It's incredibly annoying and a pain to get woken up at 9 am when i work second shift until 2:30 am, so beware if you have a night job @_@

someone from this number called and asked for my husband..i told them he was not home.. they said they would call back and that they were the indiana state police...

I just had the same thing happen but it's all 6's.  This is     OOps. Phones upside down.  Sorry! ;-)  Caller ID scramble system.  Billing computer substitues all 9's for lack of anything else to print!  Could have made it xxx xxx xxxx

i got a call from this number nobody answered it line what to know what this is about i have the blocked numbers on my phone so i can see who is calling me at all times

On my cell phone (Verizon), it shows "Restricted" when I get an incoming call.
But when I go to check my phone data. The number shows 999-999-9999.
Any clue?

Received call from Sun Loan Company. Phone number 1-999-999-9999.
I did not answer the call.

Got a call from this number 1-999-999-9999 on the answering machine at work, no message, just 2 beeps. Caller ID said not provided. Strange. Ghosts??

Recived a call to day, answered without checking callerID.
THe person said from United Carpet Cleaner, I said "are you
the one who spamed my phone?" she said "no". Hangup and check
callerID, sure enough, it was 999-999-9999. They alter their
ID so www.donotcall.gov can not do anything...

These callerID afteration is illegal and must be stopped.

Does anyone know how? FCC?

This SCUM doesn't even have a office in our state, Indiana, if you visit the website. Decided to phone in a complaint  involving this POS (vs using the on line form) and should have expected to interact with a HALF-WIT gov employee.  This bimbo said I would need "more information" and told me to call the phone company to trace the call. This mindless freak then gave me a FTC number to report telephone fraud, 800-876-7060, and just for the hellavit I called.....it would not connect.

Needless to mention, if our USELESS regulators/gov agencies were competent; the type of scum using bogus numbers to conceal their location and identity  would fear serious repercussions that serve as a deterrent.   Our less-than-dilgent protectors obviously don't have enough common sense to use these boards to identify a pattern of behavior by the SOBs ignoring the do not call registry.

I get a call from 1 999-999-9999 everyday at LEAST three times a day. at first it appeared to be unknown, but I recently signed up on a website that unmasks blocked calls. Although it gives me the number, I still cannot call it back and stop it.

As i am with telecom sector i know its belongs to Vodafone.

This number came up "Unknown" but I have a "Trapcall" on my phone so afterwards the 999# appeared but i did not answer.

Im comming from Germany and i have google the number 9999999999. All what there stand was : call of death. I called the number and nobody says anything. Then i get a call from this number and a asian man says hello? hello? and I hung up.

Apparently the caller did not realise that my phone was turned off and this 999-999-9999 came up. It went to voicemail since I am signed on to Call-Trap  heh heh heh :)  well I just put it in my Blocked Call List

This number was shown on caller I.D. for Waste Management wanting to let me know they changed the my garbage pickup day.  Seems pretty shady for a company to be able to block their number with a false one, glad I cancelled service with them.
