This number is used mainly by VOIP (or Voice-over-internet-protocol) users, from programs such as Skype. Do not bother returning this call. They can't answer.

Possibly Portfolio Recovery. I answered, and heard nothing on the other line. After an uncertain 'hello' from my end, they disconnected. I blocked the number.

Called me twice today 954am and 224pm. Recorded msg in Spanish. When I call it back it says the service I'm calling is restricted and it hangs up.

I’ve received 22 text messages from this 9999999 number today and it’s driving me nuts. TELUS wasn’t helpful. I blocked the number so hopefully that’s it.

Calls from +9999999999 number . . . obviously a SCAM caller.  Blocked the number.

I have had 120 calls from this number since 11/8/2018 -- that's five months. I usually get three a day. From what I can gather this is a "catch-all" spoofed number used by criminals and unscrupulous telemarketers. The reasons for the calls vary widely.

You may learn, as I have, that because this is a spoofed number it is NOT blockable. It can't be stopped. Infuriating.

Yeah I got a call from 999 and I picked up, some guy named the devil or something answered saying he wants my soul

recd call 6=3 at 7;45 pm   I decided to answer and tell the idiot 'wrong number' so they'd not call again,,a woman's recorded voice said 'this is an important question I have for you" and I hung up.
