We are subscribed to receive weather warnings from the National Weather Service and they come from this number.

0000006245.  Someone texted me from this number with a threatening message and I would like to know the origin of it.

for the past three months, I have seen text messages to and from (but mostly to) 0000006245 on my husbands cell bill.  They are nights and weekends.  He claims he has no idea who it could be.  Is he telling the truth?

what does it mean when you get 0000000001 or 0000000003 on call page is that phone call or a picture  or what?? this is verizon call log

other's have mentioned that a text was sent from their phone to 0000006245 and they did not sent it.  Well the same thing happened to me and i am accussing my husband for this.  I can't believe this is possible until i read it happened to someone else.  
Cant this really happen?

This number is from AIM instant messaging service from the internet.  My Daughter uses it to keep in touch with her friends that dont have texting on their phone.  So when they are on the computer and she isnt, they can still communicate.

This number shows up when someone from a Comcast email account sends a message to your Verizon phone ........ to(your cell number)vtext.com.

I sent a web link to my own cell phone using my Comcast email account and 0000006245 appeared on my bill as the text sender's number. The webpages on my cell phone are too small and difficult to navigate so I used my computer to find the exact page I wanted, then sent the link to my phone so that I could easily click, then saved the page in favorites. Now I don't have to try to navigate there in the future, it's just one click away.

I haven't been getting calls, just texts. The number doesn't come up, but it is on my bill. They are telling me that my boyfriend and I are over that he doesn't love me. Maybe...did anyone else list their phone numbers on Facebook? Maybe there is a connection.

Last month, I found many incoming text messages from 0000006245 on my partners cell phone bill.  I was suspicious and felt sick about it.  I did some research and found proof that these texts were coming from his bank (Bank of America), letting him know his account balances.  He had signed up for it.

I do his banking, and when I was on his bank acount online, I saw that the outgoing text alerts matched up exactly with his incoming texts to his cell phone.

I wanted to let you all know to spare you from what I went through.

I recieved a couple of less than nice texts from this oooooo6245 and they were kind of personal and had to be someone who knows me.The id on my phone came up as unverified sender on the text. I blocked all email texts so i hope i stop getting them.

I'm not sure if anyone who posts here actually reads through all four pages but it seems that the question has been kind of answered several times. 6245 spells MAIL and it's the code used by cell phone companies to indicate that a text message was either sent to or received from an email address and not a regular SMS text message. What this means is that the message was, most likely, not sent from a cell phone to your cell phone but rather from an email account to your cell phone at it's 3215555555@vtext.com address (depending on the cellular provider) or from your phone TO an email address. The code also appears to be used for other Internet communication that is sent from a cell phone to a non-cellular service, such as instant messaging. It's also highly likely that no cell phone store clerk is going to be able to tell you what email address it was sent from or to or if the messages were sent using an instant messenger. So, other than trying to sell you an unlimited data plan or suggesting that you block all text messages I don't believe that speaking with your cellular carrier is probably going to amount to much.

My phone wasn't working so I went to verizon online and txted my husband to let him know... Number on the bill showed as 0000006245 number. So it's definitelly a online thing for those concerned.
