I'm living in the Netherlands, The Hague. I came home, heard the phone two times ringing, than it was quit. I looked for the number and found: 002142790990.
I searched a while in phonebooks, couldn't identify. Than I searched about google just the number and came here...

I just got a call from this number, I pressed the wrong button, so I could'n have contact. 0021 is location Tunesia.
I am from the Netherlands.

I also got a phone call from 002142790990. Lucky i wasn't at home then, but if i get a phonecall i always look on the display of the phone for the number, maybe it some one i know. But this  time it was a unknow number.

4 March 2009, got a call from mentioned telephone number, saw it on my missed call list.
Looked the number up and got multiple hits with google (in Dutch) that this is a telephone scam!!
They ask you to press 9 or #9...this seems to let them see your details and from then on call on you cost!
Above mentioned hits on google where all for mobile phones...so its funny this number now appears on land lines!!!!!

just be carefull!!

I also got called by this number, I liven near Den Bosch in The Netherlands... Just like with the rest of us their was nobody on the other side of the line...

I just got a coll from this number. A voice on a recorder said i just won a prize: a cruise to the caribbean! I only had to dial 9. i hung up!
Anyone else who had the same call? I live in Ede, The Netherlands.

My daugther has been called by this number. They spoke enlisch en we live in the netherlands so she could not untherstand them. I found that 00214 is from sun microsystems. country code 216=tunesia, 212=marokko and 213=algeria. So i guess it will be a microsystem from africa.

Hoi Eveline, wij wonen in Leerdam. Ze zijn dus de laatste lekker aan het rond bellen in Nederland zo te zien. Ik heb wel eens gehoord dat als je dat nummer 9 in toetst dat ze dan op jouw kosten gaan bellen etc. en dat dit enorm kan oplopen. Bij het informatie nummer gaven ze ook het advies absoluut niet terug te bellen omdat dit me dan veel geld zou kunnen gaan kosten. Het is toch wat!

By pressing the code "9" or "# 9 0" on the phone will allow scammers to make long-distance calls on your billing account.

Note it only works if your using PBX systems (where you have to press 9 to obtain an outside line where there are no restriction placed on outgoing calls)

So there is just a small specialized group of phone users who are at risk of this scam.

Just minute ago,I also received a phonecall. Some kind of computer asked in English some minutes of my time. I hang up. I also think it is a scam. Looking at the diversity of countries, it is a big one! Inform the police?

Hi i´m from the netherlands and i´m called bij this number. They told me that I won a trip to the carribean. I had to give mij CC number or press #09/09#.
Don´t give any of this but hang up your phone. WATCH OUT!!!!

I'm from the Netherlands too and got a call from the same number. Someone started to talk about Obama..and after that I hung up.

Ik ben 13- 3 009 gebeld en het was een enquete omtrent Obana en de wereld economie van ongeveer 4 min en aan het einde van het gesprek maakte ik kans op een gratis reis naar Amerika,??????

Ook gebeld met dit nummer. Geen reactie van de kant van de beller.
Ze zullen er ongetwijfeld op rekenen dat je ze terugbelt. En dat zal best heel wat kosten.
Niet doen dus.
In de tijd van het internetten met inbellen kreeg je soms ook te maken met een "dialer" die zich op je computer installeerde, vandaaruit men je internetverbinding via die lijn liet lopen, hetgeen soms 500 gulden per minuut kon kosten.

I've just been called by this number: 00 21 427 90 990 and a tape recorder woman's voice asked me if i wanted to take a survey (enquete). if i wanted it, i'd have to dial 9.
the survery was gonna be about how i would think about how the new US president handles the economic crisis!
so i did, and i was reconnected to another phone, but noone has picked up yet, so it was still ringing on the other side of the line.
i hung up because i didn't really trust it, when i called the number back, i couldn't connect to it

Why did they call me????

They called us also today no one at home  , my wife called them back could not understand them, she thought chinese languae or so .??
