This number phoned my Mum to say she had won 1 million dollars. Mom is hard of hearing and said please talk to my son, so I took the phone. An Indian lady said that it's about the computer sending out virus to lots of companies and they would recfity it for us !!!!!!.  
As I am an IT Engineer I informed her that there is no way the could have traced any virus to my mothers computer (as she does not have one!!!!!). I further informed her that it was a scam and I would be passing the number on to the international police. No doubt she hung up immeidately.
Be careful people, these are scam calls. The lady said she worked for the 'Computer PC Repair company'.

Just phoned me too; indeed, same story.

This afternoon my dad got a call from this number as well. He asked her to speak Dutch (I'l from the Netherlands), but she continued in (bad) English. He immediadly hung up and turned off his laptop. Any idea who this is and why she called?

Got a call from this number too - it's a scam.  They pretend to be a computer security company and that you have a virus.  They'll ask you to type some lines into your computer which will clear the virus but in fact you are opening a door for them to take control of your computer.

I had some time on my hands so I strung them along for 20 ~ 30 minutes telling them that I was so happy they called and so lucky that they had found the virus etc.

I pretended to type in what they told me and when it came to the crunch and they wanted me to press enter - I asked them what type of fool did they think I was, told them to fu€k off and hung up.

If you have time I suggest you do the same as it will severely slow down the amount of calls they can make in a day, cost them more money in calls and maybe if you are lucky you might even pi$$ them off !

just got a call from this number nobody there then heard an automated goodbye. nit strange

Caller said he was with Microsoft Technical Dept. and could see my computer had a virus - after stringing him along for a few minutes I told him I didn't have a computer. He immediately hung up!

They caalled me today but i sensed that it was wrong so i hung up

They called  me too! Say that I have a computerproblem, but i did not have one! These people are criminals!

got a phonecall too today but there was no sound...strange....

I saw a few missed calls the last days. Caller was calling with this 0025 number. Really hope I will be at home the next time, because I like Johnny Angel's suggestion!

Same thing in Ireland. My clients have been called by these people too.

I live in Ireland and I got a call today from a man from that 0025 number, claiming that he was ringing from Microsoft and that I had a lot of viruses. I asked him what could he do etc and he asked me to turn on the pc. I said no way, I was too busy. He was persistant and I said I could get it fixed myself. At that, he hung up. Be wary, as it is a scam.

I just received a call from the telephone number: 00253820308 an Indian gentlemen starting claiming my father owes him £5,000. He them carried on to tell me he was actually calling on behalf of Al Qaeda. (?!)
I told him I didn't believe or trust what he had said to me and after trying to ask him a set of questions he gave up and put the phone down. He also gave me "his" name Altf Kann (which I believe to be made up) and a contact number: 020391265210.

Bit of a jump from the virus story (!!?) ...Lets hope the Mafia don't call next.

These morons, have they nothing better to do with their life but make ridiculous calls like this.  I told the last one that called me to hold while I recorded the phone call..he hung up pretty quick.   They called a few months ago and I bombarded the guy with questions like :  Who are you?  huh?  who? who are you?? speak up please? sorry? who are you?  he got so frustrated he hung up.  Good enough for him.

I've had a few calls from this number it's always about viruses and I just hang up but this one was at 3am so really not happy and very very tired!!
