They are a call centre full of scammers, they pretend to be Microsoft, British Gas etc, do not give them any information.  Over the last few days I have received numerous calls and now tell them to get a real job and stop trying to scam people.

Got call from this number at 2-30pm caller said they were Microsoft and I had malware on my computer the wanted me to turn on my computer I declined as this is a scam to take control of your computer.
If you get this call hang up don't follow their instructions.

Got a call today from this strange number. Lady on other end couldn't really speak English very well. She asked if everything was working ok. I asked her what she meant. She then asked if my campaign was ok. Asked what she meant and she tried to sell me "new computer line'. Very strange. Hung up.

Got several calls from 00501,only hearing someone talking,but nothing to me.Strange!
Is it from Beleize?

On The 25-4-2012,at 17.10 ,Answered telephone while visiting my elderly mother,Indian sounding gentleman pretending to be from Microsoft's  Technical Support Team,asked me to put on the Computer,I told him no,he said yes,I told him not to ever phone back,he said he would keep phoning,I hung up the phone,he phoned back and I hung up again,that was that,has this anything to do with internet provider TalkTalk giving out personal information.

Pick up the phone, asian sounding person could pronouced my name, suggested to take elocution lessons put the phone down.

Woman called said I had got a computer virus, I said she was talking rubbish and this was a scam, she rudely told me to prove it and said I was yap yap yapping, it was totally hilarious, put the phone down when she kept saying 'whatever' to everything I said, not as much fun as the 45 minutes with a chappie who tried the same thing this morning, I hung up twice on him and he kept ringing back to say my phone was duff, silly scammer.

Foreign caller said he was doing survey and he was 'UK Energy Bill', wanted information about whether we had gas or electricity, I asked him who he thought he was speaking to, he said that he had my phone number, I said that it was ex directory and that I wanted to speak to a supervisor, he said not available. I told him to write and not to ring again. We will see. !!!

got a call from this number at 10.35am today. heard no sound on the phone. nobody spoke. they put the phone down after a while

On The 02-05-2012,at 12.15 Answered telephone sounding girl with asian accent pretending to be from Microsoft's  Technical Support Team, pretended that I had problems with my computer but I said no.
She knew my adress and tel. number.....what is this ??

Got a call from 00501. No one spoke on the other side. So I just closed the call. This is the second time.

Whenever there is a delay between my answering and caller's response I don't speak, but use a polythene bag to make crackling noise, wait till they hang up, dial 1471 and check it out on line. Call received on 12th May at 11.10am. Caller hung up quite quickly this time

In the past, like others in this website, I have had a call  regarding computer ''security' . Claiming to represent Microsoft, he said  my computer was riddled with viruses and he needed to gain access to sort this out. Didn't believe him but, while he was rabbiting on, I ran a quick scan. I  then told him that McAfee showed my computer was secure and that he was trying to scam me by using scare tactics which amounted to fraud by extortion and not to call me again.

6 CALLS IN TWO DAYS

Hi I've have had 2 or 3 calls from this number also other calls from various other codes and then the phone goes dead for a while it's getting a bit of nightmare.

Got a call from 00501, no one there when I picked up, not the usual number fpr the Microsoft scam.

its a scam if u get a call from them call the police there phoning from  india all they want is access to your pc so the can get all your bank and credit card info soon as you give them access they can get it all

This number called 9.30pm 16th May 2012 a foriegn male voice jabbering so I put the phone down. just another phone pest.

recieved a call from this number today, wanted to speek to my late husband. Hes beeen gone 8 years.When I said what is it in connection with they hung up.

got a call today 00501 talking in background but did not answer - this number has call before  - who does it belong to
