00501

Reeds 2 maal een oproep van het nr 00501 met een slecht engels aksent sprekende persoon die beweerde van Microsoft te zijn met de melding dat mijn computer zou crashen !

Heg gevraagd mij in het Nederlands of Frans te woord te staan maar daar ging men niet op in en vroegen mij de computer op te zetten.  Heb op dat ogenblik ingehaakt

Reeds enkele malen een oproep gekregen van het nr 00501,vrouw die engels praat,
heb vandaag eens geluisterd wat ze te vertellen had,
en die zegt dat alle computers met een virus zitten,en om de computer aan te zetten,

heb gewoon ingehaakt

Keep getting this call from an Asian said that mt firewall was messed up and kept sending them error messages. I Ask if they were Microsoft .NO??? but Microsoft hjas given them my no, Called the pereson a Liar, I was then told to B****er off. and they hung up

00501 asked if i was happy with my banking and what bank did i use, told him i would not tell him then he hung up.

i got a call today from 00501 and was verbally sexually abused by the male caller can anyone help to get these filthy people off our lines

i just had this guy ringing from this number too, he asked do i want my loan insurance paid back to me, i said i've never had a loan in my life!  then he said fk you you mofokr you lying bstrd, go fk youself, i just laughed and hung up.  haha lol ,   stupid way of operating a buisness.

This is an automated call and is answered when you pick up handset. They are from India and it is a scam to say your compurt is at fault and they want your credit card to put right. DO NOT give any info at all.You will be ripped off big time

Had 3 calls today, @15-11/17-13 & 17-52 hrs. No answer?

Just had a call from this number, Asian person offering free computer security - I just his the secrecy button and after a while he hung up.

These people were so offensive so I gave it back to them after a guy said he was coming to my house to F**k my wife.

They kept phoning a said they were from my bank, I asked who is my bank? they just said Royal....I asked for their address and they just went quiet. I have never been so angry over a phone conversation in my entire life.

I just received a call from this number n that person spoke wit me in hindi n told me that i got a lottery of 25,00,000...but i hanged up saying wrong number....

Got the exact same call - she said they were a microsoft certified technicians support and found viruses (she rolled off a long list) on my PC - only I have a Macs! When I asked her what company she worked for she kept on saying we're microsoft certified technicians and microsoft route calls through her company...she kept on arguing and eventually put the phone down on me!

just got a call 00501 nobody answered

Just had a call fromm 00501. An Indian-sounding male asked me for details of my recent car accident. I told him I hadn't had an accident for many years and hung up. Strange thing is, I tried to call 1471 afterwards, but whoever it was kept the line open for about five minutes - I could hear talking in the background.

For a few weeks now,this number is also calling me!
Mostly on Tuesday ??

With a stupid story of Microsoft technical support!

Just got a call from 00501, asking me if I'd had an accident, when I just repeated they should not have my number they hung up. I'm ex directory, with talktalk, not happy!

A while ago, I used to get calls every week or so from these people.  The only thing is that they would call me from a different (yet fake) number every time.*  I think it must be the same people doing this every time.  When I do get someone's voice (only happened on 2 or 3 occasions) they have a strong Indian accent.  Just as a warning to people, they have several ways to scam you, they can tell you they're from microsoft (and proceed to tell you a load of rubbish), they can ask you if you need a loan OR they can tell you they're giving you compensation for some unknown accident.  
Today at about quarter to 4 someone called (from 00501) and told me they were from "solicitors department" and that I apparently am owed compensation.  I didn't get much further than this because when I asked him to repeat the company name, he laughed and hung up.
This is now becoming quite annoying, I guess I'll just try and string them along next time.

*I have seen numbers such as 00000000, 01000000000, 00301 and 00501

6.30 pm A call from 00501, an Asian who, when I asked, said him name was Derek, no, David Smith, Microsoft Windows administrator or something and would I put on my computer as he had the ID and would help me;  I asked him to tell me the ID, he said I had to put on my computer.  I said I didn't have a computer so he went.  He refused to tell me where he got my tel. number

ook bij mij ging vanmiddag om 16:38 de telefoon met vermeldingnummer 00501.Ik kreeg 'n Engelssprekende dame aan de lijn,en noemde naar mijn grote verbazing de achternaam van mijn vrouw!! en noemde ik daarna mijn achternaam,toen zei ze - YOU DOWNLOAD MUSIC FROM WINDOWS-waarop ik antwoorde -JA VAN    I-TUNES.en vroeg ik wat er aan de hand was, meteen daarna viel de verbinding weg!! Ik vertrouwde het niet,en nu nog steeds niet,ik heb meteen mijn provider opgebeld,ook op internet het nummer opgezocht,en kwam ik vele reacties tegen van deze side waarop ik nu antwoord.ik heb ook meteen de Politie gewaarschuwd,en heeft mij te kennen gegeven dat ik de computer goed in de gaten moet houden!! als er "gekke"dingen gebeuren!! ook hebben ze mij het tel.nr.gegeven hiervoor.Ik vindt het zeer onaangenaam want hoe komen ze in Godshemelsnaam aan je tel.nr.!!!

This person from 00501 trying to reclaim ppi cover I may have paid. Reported him to the police for harassing us at home. Barred these nuisance calls via telephone preference service website. Which was very easy to do. Also barred the number 0050.
