00501

just stupidly answered a call from this number,was expecting a call from someone else so didnt check caller display.
no one spoke to me just a lot of Indian sounding chatter in the background for a few mins then the line went dead.
so looked up on here and have now blocked the number from my phone but i expect they have ways and means to get round it,this type of lowlife always do grrrrr.

Lifted the phone yesterday as on the caller ID it showed up as a friend.  Then this foreign voice came on asking for the householder.  Told them they had the wrong number & I hung up.  Checked my other handset which did not have this friend's number to discover it was 00501.  They seem to be finding a way of using other friends telephone numbers!  This has happened a few times but nobody on the other end.  Have now deleted friend's number off my handset as I know it off by heart.  Have also blocked the number.  Will see what happens now!

am being pestered with these scam, re computer not working, wrong address delivery, PPI a,etc, calls and am getting really frustrated I have telephone preference but it makes No difference whatsoever when will the government stop this tripe ???  Seems everyone in this Country is out to get something for nothing!!!!!!

That may be true, at least it might be if the number was a UK number.         As for TPS, you expect too much.      That service is provided free by the UK Sales and Marketing industry to reduce the number of calls made by legitimate UK businesses.   PPI recovery is hardly legitimate sales.   Wrong address delivery is hardly sales at all, and is often a tactic used by debt collectors.  Computer not working is clear fraud.    

You need to think about where to place the blame for all these nuisance calls and seriously consider blocking the calls before you explode with exasperation.

I had a call from 00501 at 12.40 am my immediate thought someone was in trouble my heart sank when I answered the phone they hung up annoying

We need to find out who these people are and to stop these calls at twenty to one in the morning not funny

This number called at 1-58am.  Belize code. This is obvious "scam", block number on phone, and tell friends, not to call back this number under any circumstances!

keep having calls from 00501, when I answer it there is no one on the other end and it cuts off.

Indian call center about a car accident and looking for compensation. Spoke to their supervisor and pissed him off so much he hung up. :-)

Got a call from this number today at 12.30.  Lady with indian accent asked to speak to the home owner,  Told them they were out and I was only the cleaner.  They hung up.

had 2 calls from 00501 today when I picked up it went dead

18th  December  2014. 4.45pm.  Phone call on my mobile  phone from this number. Answered but no one said  anything.  I put the phone  down. Worried now reading  this if they can get my details  of my smartphone.

Two times I receiv a call from this Nr. I don't answer it.

Clearly out of country call centre telling me I can have solar panels fitter for free by yet another Government grant. Erm I don't think that's quite right, is it!!!

I had a nuisance call from phone number 00501 at my home in London UK at 12.13pm on 21 Jan 2014. The caller was a woman with a strong Indian accent who claimed to be called “Victoria”, although she could barely speak English, and claimed to be calling from a firm called EasyClaim. When I asked here where they were located, she told me they were based in Forest Gate (a neigbourhood in east London).

This number had been calling me since the past 2 weeks every night at around 1am

I had a call today from this number and by going what others are saying i would soon know if i had a computer virus as my husband is a IT technician who ever they are they can sling their hooks .....

Answered it was lot of interference then I hung up the number was 05001
