Just got a call from 01138 591300 on my mobile.
They said in a cheerful voice "hi, its Jonathan from the refunds team, are you alright?".
I said "the refunds team?".
He hung up.

Do they get paid if you answer the phone?  I cant see why they would call and then hang up otherwise?

Just logging here that I got a call from 01138591300 today, 19 April. I didn't answer and the caller didn't leave a message. If someone doesn't leave a message, I don't call back.

01138 510300 called today so I told him I find  him & kill him. Boy, did he hang up fast! It's a scam.  Ignore any call.

Got called today from 01138 591300 just got a load of people laughing on the other end saying who am I calling.   tee hee ha ha really funny guys. Try getting a job and a life.

niece got a call from this 01138 number on her mobile whilst at school.she had it on silent.just came home and found this site...told her to ignore it..many thanks.

Generally these calls are not for any purpose other than to acertain that the numbers are live so the details can be sold on to marketing companies.  If you dont answer then they cant confim that the number is active

my number keeps getting called by a 01138 (10380) number who laughs or stays silent....wish i could poleaxe the person

Just recieved call from 01138591300 luckily I didnt get to phone in time and was suspicious of the number so googled it and this link came up. Am not well warned not to answer. thanks.

Didn't get to the phone in time, thankfully. Just came online to trace the code as it isn't one I'm familar with. V gald I did!!!

Couple of calls left on answerphone from 01138 876876 asking us to contact them urgently otherwise they  "will have to instruct agent to attend unannounced".  Asked us to call ref:M1166921.
Is this some form of scam ?

This seems to be a multi scam number, probably fake.  Ignore it and if someone turns up at your door, which is unlikely, call the police.

Yet another 01138595199 with no one to talk to why can somone not stop this ! frustrated  you Bet!!!!!!!!

They woke me up when I'd been out drinking... They must burn.

We get about 2 calls per day from the number 01138 876876.  In two weeks we got about 28 calls.  They all sound very threatening and serious, saying they are from a company (you can never quite hear the name) and they need to do a home visit.  Then in a threatening voice say that they will have no alternative but to send a person to visit the property without notification.  I have tried to call the company a number of times but get no answer.  I have noticed on my phone bill that the call comes from Leeds. Then then there is an automated voice that give the reference no: M1507317.   Please can somebody help me stop getting these calls.  I can see how they can intimidate old people living on their own. Dreadful, mean and not very pleasant.
