in getting calls at work at 7pm asking for me by name from 01138 when call was answered by a work mate the guy at the other end was Scottish the area code says Leeds and surrounding area ?

Phoned police who told me to call the Action Fraud Dept - No 03001232040. They looked MMF up and told me to call them. I did (happy that I was not going to get caught by a hoax etc!) and informed company that they had made a mistake. They had been given my number (false number) by a debtor and they subsequently removed me from their list. Hope this helps.

Asda customer service. Looking at the variety of companies my guess is this is a call center representing various clients

Just get in touch with your phone company and they can block all incomming calls made to you from this number.

Company keeps texting and calling me saying I owe money on my car. Funny as my car was a present and paid in full. They threaten to come to your home, let them!

My mum keeps getting these calls everydays a voice messgae saying this is urgent, an agent will be coming to your property. Really winding me up now.

I get these several times a day for months. After finding this site, I rang them and it appears they are a debt collection agency.  as I don't have any debts I informed them so it appears someone has been using my name fraudulently.  T01138hey said they would remove me from their system.   We shall see if this is the case.

This message says it is a charitable survey, and asks for money.

I am annoyed have only just got a new mobile number and have straight away received a text message and phone call from this number saying i need to call them or their agent may turn up unannoounced

Unknown caller asking about my private pensions. Suggesting how I might use them. I am of pensionable age and do not require this annoying advice
