- George. Now I will post you a selection off serous complaints off fraud from another company that Mr Gary Davies was running as a shadow director. The last ones were a sample from his brothers company IDC which is Ian Davies and now I will show you samples from Duncan Regents which his wife set up again it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out exactly what has been going on and is still going on. Both the companies I am showing complaints from have all been 'helped' by the utilty bill helpline which is run by Gary Davies and acts as a company that helps you if you have been a victim off a rouge business rates company. And surprise surprise they have 'helped' many companies that IDC has ripped off and also Duncan Regents has ripped off plus many more.
This is serious fraud and I now hope that the authorities and police act immediately instead off delaying their enquiries- Caller: George

Same here, a guy called Ricky has been calling me for weeks suggesting how they can save me money on my business rates, then today, called me again to say they are going to file a claim into the small claims court as I owe them money!!! The last 4 calls I had from them was sales patter, I have never agreed to pay anything! When I asked him why he didn't request money the last 4 calls, he said, I signed an electronic contract saying I agree to pay!!! And he was pretty smug about it!!! Lets see where this leads to!! - GeorgeLauren

I have had the same thing from Dunan Regents and now they say they are taking me to court if I don't settle in seven days, they said in the beginning that they were from the Rates office that's how this all started, Ill let you no if they get the money by taking me to court, bring it on then I can stand up and say what they are doing to the general public some one has to fight our corner. - GeorgeHi, this compnay called Duncan Regents has called me many times over the last few days telling me that they can save me money on my business rates. They tell me that the cost for their service is £275 + vat but you only pay if they can reduce your rates.....sounds fair enough.....so i said ok, go for it.
They then send you an email and a link to a form to fill in, they ask you just to fill in the basics very quickly while they are on the phone as they have loads of people wanting this but no more spaces left.....(yeah right).....then comes the hit.....you have to click on ' i have read and agree to the terms and conditions' I told him on the phone i had not even seen them....he told me not to bother reading them as it just says what he has told me already, i smelled a rat by now and said hang on let me read them........It clearly states buried in the middle of the gumpf that so long as the rates office agree to review the case you have to pay the fee, and even if you do not save any money you do not get this fee back.
A con!
these guys know who I am, now I have put it in writing.....if you think I am wrong then sue me for libel.
Keep away from this company, trading standards have been informed. - George11 Jul 2013
Duncan Regent Associates ARE A CON company. www.duncanregent.co.uk NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
Ricky and his colleagues claim they are almost 99% certain they can get get a successful appeal for business rates "based on the evidence provided" but VOA have rejected my appeal based on the fact there is insufficient reason for an appeal. I have sent repeated emails to Duncan Regent Associates for misleading and false advertising but they are not returning my calls or emails. - GeorgeShowed by the way they talk about "customers" not “competitor " whom they had stated but change halfway down when you read on they bring a customer they know which goes back on what they said about being a competitor and they try to bring dirt up as they are bullies the customer did not like their service as you can see and they try to bully you
Would you really want a service like that?
I’m no competitor as there is no business to compete with as you can do what there offering for free without spending hundreds pounds with them by miss leading you to tick a box to tie you into paying money without your knowledge!
Thinking it was clever to con people like that, then to bully them into paying it?
I have contacted trading standards and if you’re having problems with Duncan Regent Associates
http://www.duncanregent.co.uk
You should do this as well so that trading standards have enough evidence against them
https://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-office
Not the made up competitor they state!
They are now trying to spam this review site with information you can get from local government
To deflect on the point they are guilty and even if you do have a business and that you think you
Can smooth it over with bringing dirt on that person to scare off other customers from giving bad review and you Think this is the way to do business someone need to go back and do their home work
I can’t be libel unless it’s untrue? I’m telling the truth so your scare tactics back fired
WORD OF WARNING STAY CLEAR NOTHING IS FREE AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO REVIEW THEM
https://www.gov.uk/find-local-trading-standards-office - GeorgeI paid these people nearly four months ago and have heard nothing from them, this forum is now making me wonder why, ive called them this afternoon and no one answered, please dont tell me this is a con as i cant afford to loose more money.
They told me i was definetly owed money back from the council and this would be into a couple of thousand pounds. Im now not going to rest this weekend until ive spoke to them on monday.
Please tell me i havent been conned by Duncan Regent - Georgealso i don't think the council will pay back money for your rates before they may be able to lower them but not repay previous rates back i would ring the council to see if that statement is true and if not they sold you a product that breaks the misrepresentation act 1967 but that wouldn't suprize me this will help trading standards see how Duncan Regents do bussiness

My caller from Duncan Regent was Chris - very unprofessional and full of waffle. I got him to email over his Terms & Conditions and, as suspected, the truth was radically different to his sales patter. Item 8. Fee. £375.00 +VAT is payable merely on "case acknowledgement" whether or not you get a rebate. Item 9. Commission. 25% of any successful rebate is payable to Duncan Regent (our Chris conveniently "forgot" to mention this). My advice to anyone suffering repeat 'phone calls from this outfit is to gently lay the receiver down on your desk, go make a nice cup of tea and they'll be long gone when you get back. They can't stand the sound of silence... - GeorgeHello , my name Khanh Long . This is axactly happen to me by Duncan Regent Now the want to bring me to their court. I am waiting for the day
Can you let me update your case please.

Unfortunately, you more than likely have been, i'm sorry to say, but the wonderful thing about the internet is that you can find anything on anyone, especially idiots like these that leave themselves so exposed!
Ok all, heres goes........

Reading between the lines, its a Mickey Mouse, husband and wife operation (Bonnie and Clyde wannabes), probably working from home out to screw as many people as possible!!
To all on this thread who are concerned that they have received letters threatening legal action, worry not, people such as this haven't got the intelligence, or the financial clout to start suing people.
Not to mention their T&C's are so ambiguous, they're not worth the paper they're written on.
Speaking from a legal point of view no judge in the land would entertain a contact as basic as theirs.
Well guys, you've just been Punked!
Because if you have been naughty little monkeys, everyone now knows where you live - good luck!!
Oh....and for the avoidance of doubt (as you keep exclaiming)
All information provide above is "without prejudice" and public information as a UK Limited Company - GeorgeThis shows again others were on it in relation to it being a big family conspiracy to defraud. And now they sit under the banner off the 'utilty bill helpline' acting as the saviours to business people who have been ripped off. Little people know they been ripped off by the very owners off the people behind 'utilty bill helpline'
Do reply once more. Are you related to Ian Davies of ID Consultants, also in Bolton? They are running the same type of business rate reduction "business" as "The Company". They also try issuing threats using the same semi legal jargon as your goodselves.
So are you and Duncan Regents associated with each other ????? - George28 Aug 2013 | 1 reply
This is definetly the same crew working the same con as ive had site of their contracts and letters as my friend has had dealings with their other company IDC in bolton and their formats and layouts for both businesses are the same, even more so both companies have replied to their complaints on the who calls me site and again you can see it has been written by the same person . so they believe we the pubic are that stupid to think that they can and would get away with this.
I'm going to email the Bolton trading standards and see what they have to say about these operations, as im someone who has been repeatedly fobbed off and fobbed off by these people, I'm so glad that now we maybe able to bring these people to account! - Georgew you couldn't resist!. 18th September 2013, "The Company" (where do they dream up these aliases) will not post again".(That post is still there, by the way). Looks like that promise is like your business promises - rubbish. For the interest of anyone who would like to know more about these companies in Bolton and their virtual offices check out the number on here for ID Consultants. Funnily enough the directors of both companies are called Davies and both companies use the same quasi-legal claptrap in their posts.
- George.| 4 repliesCan u now see what's going on ?? Report utilty bill helpline to the police and the authorities. There is enough evidence on here and all over the internet to prove a huge conspiracy to defraud the public has taken place by this family for years.
And under many banners
Let's bring down these scum bags and let the courts lock them up !!
Utilty bill helpline is a massive con that is run by people who have been conning people for years and years and years and are now claiming to be the 'Robin Hood' off the utilty and business rates sector.
I'm a dog with a bone now. And I hope others are too - Put Davies in jail replies to utility bill helplineGary Davies is the ultimate 'MR BIG' of confidence fraud.
He has been running operations for years and years and years under so many different companies. Cleverly Davies has done his best to keep his name away from the companies he has directed but as a shadow director.
He has been behind the biggest business rates bogus companies such as IDC , LANESET UK, DUNCAN REGENTS plus many many more.
All these companies have been expertly devised by him too create a confidence fraud on a huge scale and as so far has not been convicted.
They always say that the people with the biggest ego's will in the end fall because of their ego and in this case Davies biggest mistake was to set up the 'utilty bill helpline' which claims to act as a company that advises people who have been 'conned' by business rates companies and utilty brokers to get their fees back for them that they paid to these rouge traders. The reason he is being so successful at what he's doing is because it is him and him alone who devised the confident con with the business rates and utilty brokerages he was involved in. He even had his own wife, brother, son and close friends set up companies on his behalf so he could build a huge database up to get to where he is now with 'utilty bill helpline', where all he does is contact people that he and his team have conned in the past with his business rates and utilty brokerage companies. He knows that these people he is contacting under the banner off 'utilty bill helpline' will be raw with being ripped off before as he was the one who did it. He then them and makes them feel as if he is there to help them and attacks the companies that he originally was behind as the shadow director And cunningly gains their trust again and gets them a refund through their credit card company. Very clever. - George| 3 repliesThe people behind this who claim to help businesess get money back from bogus companies who are set up to scam people are the very people who have set up bogus companies for years to scam money out of small businesses around the uk by appealing business rates and then taking the money and running. Every company they have been involved in has been liquated as soon as the authorities are hit on their heels. And most registered at exactly the same address as the one they have registered the 'utilty bill helpline' at.
Some off the companies they have been behind are
IDC business rates
Duncan Regents
Business rates helpline
Plus many many many more
They have already deceived small businesess for millions and millions around the uk with the above mentioned companies and done absolutely diddly squat for the money their victims have been conned into having over as they believe they were going to get refunds on their business rates, once the money been handed over their victims files just closed down and a paper chase takes place to prolong the con being noticed.
Now they have set the 'utility bill saver' up to contact the very victims they have conned by their dodgy business rawtes companies to now offer refunds back to them by going to the credit card companies and claiming it back that way and then charging them a percentage off the fees reunited back with their victims.
So yes stay clear and yes contact the authorities if you have been a victim off any off their fraud. - Miss FoxAs an ex employee of the Davies empire I'm disgusted to know I was trained to con!!!!
Won't be long till he's sat there with a confiscation order and banged up with the likes off Rolf Harris and Max Clifford.
Judgement always comes eventually to those who believe they can break the law and keep breaking it and walk around as if they heros.
Can't wait to see the day justice is served on Mr and Mrs arrogant
See how the other half you look down on live then!!
You are nothing but thieves - Miss FoxAnd this is for POO. Or is it Marcus, Gary or the wifey really.
Let's be real you def aren't a genuine post. Another Davies divert.
Off to the toilet for some toilet roll lol
