- Nan replies to The CompanyKnew you couldn't resist!. 18th September 2013, "The Company" (where do they dream up these aliases) will not post again".(That post is still there, by the way). Looks like that promise is like your business promises - rubbish. For the interest of anyone who would like to know more about these companies in Bolton and their virtual offices check out the number on here for ID Consultants. Funnily enough the directors of both companies are called Davies and both companies use the same quasi-legal claptrap in their posts.
- topnosh replies to TonyThey are a con trust me i used to work for them
- lordsuch replies to The Companyyou are full of [***] you always have been full of it and always will be probably hence why the creditors are holding meetings with you
- Justice for victims| 2 repliesAnother company added to my list of fraudsters and scammers.do you ever bother going to vt.i bet you don't.take the fee initial discussions with the vo and then withdraw.are you quite happy to face the media.i can arrange that.the net is slowly closing.
- Justice for victims| 1 replyLet me explain why this firm is dishonest.to put an appeal there must be grounds ie toning level wrong size wrong rateable level out of line with rent at April 2008.this is for the compiled list.if this firm was honest they would have done their research to justify one of these grounds.if you are unable to agree with the vo go to tribunal but they don't.just because an appeal has been accepted means absolutely nothing apart from the form being filled in correctly.if you wish to meet me on neutral ground with your solicitors I will be quite happy.you can sue me and I will see you in court.
- Promisedtheworld replies to Justice for victimsI have had the unfortunate experience of working got 'the company' and can safely say this is a fraudulent company who treats both staff and clients like [***]. After applying for my job with Duncan regent, I was given 1 day of training on business rates, appeals and the valuation office. Staff are told the minimum of details and when questioning manager or director whether this is legal or coming up with objections we where read the riot act, made to feel like idiots and bullied. Manager and director had a answer for everything and convinced staff this was all above board and legal by reading testimonials for happy clients. The telesales team was run by Marcus Davies who is the son of carron Davies, and I suspect her husband Gary acts as solicitor (his role was not none) when being interviewed I was promised a secure job with a supposedly respectable company and possible progression to management role. This never happened as I left after 1 month after becoming very suspicious of the company, after during extensive research my fears where confirmed so I left. No contract was offered, commission wasn't paid, wages where paid by cheque. After leaving I had to constantly call them to recieve my months wage and when I did recieve a cheque in the post it was £160 short! Telesales staff came and went daily at this joke of a company, staff where sacked if questioning Marcus and if un achieve able sales where not met. I had s lucky escape I urge people not to deal with these con artists.
- The Company| 2 repliesNow come on Nan, even you have to admit how could “The Company” resist when you get certain anonymous third parties making ridiculous comical comments like that – and the one’s since - unbelievable?
How interesting that William Shakespeare some 397 years since he sadly passed from this life can still ignite a certain anonymous audience to perform on their 21st century, seedy, anonymous stage (being WhoCallsMe just so you are clear) in their continued attempts to tarnish the reputation of “The Company”?
Anyone who has half a brain knows exactly who “The Company” is unless you are saying that everyone who posts on this ridiculous site (your audience - just so you are clear) has an IQ of 70 or less (which by the way is the considered IQ of the lowest 2 to 3 % of society) so for those who do please let “The Company” clarify this confusing situation – On the 01st March 2013 “The Company” did make a posting which was removed by “Julia Forte” (The owner of WhoCallsMe.com - see “The Company” posting dated 18/09/2013 on this upstanding member of society) for some strange reason where “The Company” did state as part of that posting that Duncan Regent Associates was “The Company”? Additionally on reading the first posting ever made by a competitor on the 26th February 2013 on this credible site, unless one falls below your perception of the IQ level of your audience - well again you hardly have to be “Albert Einstein” to work this out?
Now forget all this poppycock on this Comedy Store “The Company” would again advise you as follows.
"The Company" has no problems whatsoever with any experiences being published on this site that any "Genuine Third Party" has had with "The Company" and the services that "The Company" provides, however, "The Company" will not acquiesce should a third party post anonymously on this unregulated offshore site. To do so means you are libel for written defamation as your postings will be deemed as false and unprivileged statements of fact which is harmful to The Companies” reputation, and published “with fault” as a result of malice.
Any genuine client who has any concerns about any aspect of the service “The Company” provides should write to “The Company” directly. If “The Company” does not deal with the complaint to your satisfaction you may then wish to consider complaining to Trading Standards as making a complaint this way will not prejudice your future right to take legal proceedings. The company has written to Trading Standards concerning this offshore website and the anonymous postings being made by various third parties who are acting as “agent provocateurs” in their continued attempts to damage “The Company” reputation.
Now “Nan” (and you have the gall to talk about “aliases”) stop playing silly “Tit for Tat” games again and stop embarrassing yourself on WhoCallsMe with your ridiculous conspiracy theories and if you truly have nothing to hide and you are a UK resident and would be kind enough to fully disclose your true full identity on this site “The Company” will gladly test the validity of this site through the perfectly adequate UK legal system. Failing that, as we know from your past history you won’t, try contacting Trading Standards directly who no doubt will advise you of your legal position in relation to this site and the services “The Company” provides.
To finish a quick quote on the “internet troll”: “Arguing with anonymous strangers on the Internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be - or to be indistinguishable from - self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.” - Nan replies to The Company| 1 replyFull marks for being brazen, even if boring. It would be better if your posts relied on quality not quantity. It's amazing how many non-customers have taken the trouble to expose your scam. You would probably be better not posting (as you promised) as the only person being embarrassed is "The Company" with your long winded twaddle.
- topnosh replies to Tonyyou may all find this interesting http://www.insolventcompanies.co.uk/duncan-regent-associates-ltd-06670702/
- Justic for victims replies to NanWell said nan.just come back from the Lake District.the company have been active up there being totally deceitful.
- David Josephit sounds like they are a real con company and lots of people are discovering the same thing! - they hide behind threats from 'the company' but their boss is called Carron Davies. Carron Davies also appointed her son as director and then claims to bailiffs she cant make decisions without him. Carron Davies and husband Gary Davies pretend to operate from several different offices round the corner from each other and are dodging debts chased from bailiffs. they even have 'warning they dont pay their debts' come up on some of their websites. don't bother sending them anything in the post, 'the company' claims they didn't receive it
- Caller: Carron Davies
- Mr G replies to LaurenThat's exactly what happened to me. Harassment then told "you signed an electronic contract you owe us £354.80" I was then accused, verbally abused & told they'd see me in court.. I wrote to them stating that i had sought legal advice & that i was simply not going to pay anything as they were con merchants as stated by hundreds of various people, they were more abusive & then went cold. That was two years ago & I had forgotten about it. Until I got an email from a liquidation company stating I owe the same amount unpaid debt to Duncan Regent Associates, & I now have 10 days to pay..
NOT HAPPY
I will now be sending another letter stating that I have no intention to pay into this elaborate scam.
[***]. I'm sick of the whole thing! - JAMES JONES| 1 replyIn order to assess your business rates it is necessary to accurately measure your premises in order to assess you business rates. The first few meters of your internal shop frontage are valued and have the highest value so measurements are a factor. You can apply free to have your business rates assessed. Duncan Regent claim that application is a Stage 1 and Stage 2 process etc. Actually it takes about 5 min on line to do....they claim to consider a few factors such as recession and do not visit your premises and also never actually speak to any valuation officers in my experience. Your consent form they send you to act on your behalf is actually a contract that you are tricked into signing so beware. Another valid point is that it is illegal to put pressure on consumers to make a decision that they would not of ordinarily of made rationally of their own accord. Bad people. Low level operators

- Silvermore replies to JAMES JONESThis is a total scam, , hope the liquidators see this for what it was and immediately hand this over to the authorities to investigate under business fraud...., they have a duty to so if they believe that it was set up as a crooked business am any idiot can see it was.
I will definetly be ringing the appointed liquidator to see what they are going to do as this is wrong and I will NOT be bullied into paying for something that i was conned into! - daniel replies to TonyThis company is now in Liquidation, and is still trying to extort money with, it is very obvious that they are trying to use, any company they happened to phone, and make out false invoice so that the liquidation company thinks there is still debt to collect, for this companies creditors, they are not very nice to deal with, they promise a lot and deliver nothing.
Cannot say I will be sad to see you Go. - Lauren| 3 repliesOk, so here is the latest... I stopped getting harassed by Duncan Regent back in April time...
However, I did receive a letter stating that I need to remove my original post on here otherwise they will take me to Court! I didn't remove it, and I haven't received a letter from the Courts either!
That was the last I heard from them... Or so I thought!
2 weeks ago, on a Sunday night, I received a letter from a Liquidation company stating that I need to pay £450 as soon as possible to avoid Court proceedings...
I thought what a joke. Didn't deal with it straight away, as like all of us, WE HAVE A BUSINESS TO RUN!!!
Last night, again, on Sunday night, I received another letter stating that they were disappointed that I have not paid, and that I have to pay within 7 days otherwise they will start Court proceedings. "No further warning of proceedings will be issued".
There was no telephone number or address on the email, so I googled them and rang... Asked to speak to the appointed person, and apparently she will not take any calls regarding Duncan Regent! Everything must be in writing!
Something fishy going on....
I will write to them and also email them to advise them that I will not succumb to this so I guess I will see them in Court.
I will keep you all posted...- Caller: Duncan Regent
- SandraI have been plagued from this company for months, i too feel for the saving us money scheme, saying no payment until sorted. My husband had been involved in an accident and was unable to work, i have explained all this to them numerous times.... but they still insist we owe them money. They have not given us a penny and i do not intend paying a penny until they do.
So please be very careful when you get involved with people like this, they caught me at a very vunerable time, i was trying to deal with my husbands business on my own, and explained all this to them, but they promised to sort it out. Abosolute Rubbish.- Caller: Duncan Regent Limited
- Justice for victims replies to Lauren| 2 repliesIs there any chance that you can tell me who the liquidators are.i am in contact with the national media.
- lauren replies to Justice for victims| 1 replyI've been getting emails from Caitlin Beardmore of PM Daly who is the appointed Liquidator...
