We paid £500+VAT to these people under 'Clements Agency Group'. We found out from the VOA website that the appeal was 'withdrawn'. Does this help in us getting our money back? We were originally told all would be refunded if they were unsuccessful but like total naive idiots (this is our 1st shop), we didn't get that in writing so we will fight it but need all the advice we can get! First of all write to them asking why they had to withdraw the application ! If you paid any part of this scam on a credit card use clause 75 of the credit card agrement to claim back the full amount and not just any deposit you paid but the full amount, this works and peaple should use this process more often to claim back money's from these scammers.

Let us know how you get on. Oh and a word to trading standards wont hurt either as I am sure Elliott and Susan are not strangers to them or to Hammer propertys.

oh and no matter what ever reason they tell you for the withdrawal do this any way

Sorry to hear about this.firstly listen to radio four this morning at 12.30.this was about scam rating firms.this will be followed by another programme in the next two weeks.your situation is not unique,far from it.clements agency group were previously known as hammer properties who have the worst record of any rating firms in the industry.they will shortly be exposed.you do have a way of getting your money back.however they will not give it you back just like that.why was your appeal withdrawn.probably because there was never any chance of getting a reduction.i will be in touch.can you tell us where your property was?

Ha ha looks like Hammer Properties are finally getting what they deserve! Sue Leslie is the wife of the owner of the company David Davis and also the mother of the parodical son Elliott Davis.

I would strongly advise to stay away from this company. I for one would rather [***] in my hands and clap then have anything to do with them.

I'm not sure if this is the same outfit but it seems more then likely they are. I suspected something was up from the initial conversation. But they are very convincing so anyone that has already got duped, don't worry. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, learn the lesson and move on.

Just come back from lancs today.clements agency group have put in appeal  and  there is no chance of success.in fact the rv could go up.people who have been conned by this outfit should not just dust themselves down and move on.they should sue through the small claims court otherwise they will just carry on scamming as hammer properties have been doing for years as well as other firms.

You are responding to somebody who works for one these companies.they try to deflect from their fraudulent behaviour by accusing those who have exposed the truth of being trolls.could I finally advise people who have been conned not to complain to trading standards.in their remit they only look into business v consumer.complain to the organisation that have closed down a number of these companies.it is all on the Internet.
