Got call from this number at 16.50 yesterday.
And not for the first time.
Luckily I was out.
My number is ex-directory but still the calls keep coming
Could it be an inside job?? :-P

Called by a recorded message today at 10:10. PPI is so passé.

I have just had a call from this number. It was a recorded message so I put the 'phone down. I got this number when I rang back, and had another recorded message telling me to press 9 to be removed from their data base...or register with TPS. I am already registered.

Just received a call from this number - it was a recorded message saying "this is an urgent message regarding your private pension".  I hung up without hearing anymore.  I'm registered with the telephone preference service so should not be receiving these calls.

Phoned me just now with a recording regarding private pensions.

Recorded message claimed that according to "their records" I only had a limited time to claim £1000 for something I hadn't bought/applied for.

Called today at 16.05 my auto block cut them off.
In any case i have been on pension for 15 years so what is the point in ringing me.

If these nuisance calls don't stop it won't be worthwhile having a landline just our mobiles - about time the telephone companies got these calls stopped immediately.  Who would rely on these idiots who ring anyway??????????????  How do they get our telephone numbers in the first place?  The information they have is incorrect - asking me to press 5 or press 9 they must think people are nuts.  It's like that idiot that rings saying he is from Microsoft and my computer is slow  who do they think they are talking to?  Surely nobody falls for that old line.  
Recorded message said (something like)... their records show that as I was under 60 I was due a payment of £1000 because of something to do with a pension. Press 5 to initiate payment or press 9 to unsubscribe - I wish.

This is the pension helpline.  I told them I am registered on TPS and they apologised and removed my number from their records.
I have reported them to TPS and ICO.

By not doing anything you will continue to get these calls.
Speak to a live voice at the other end. Find out who they are and advise them you are TPS registered. Get them to remove your number, then report them to TPS and ICO.
It's the only way.
These companies who do this will get fined and will eventually have to change their methods.

IF you get scammed and end up paying premium rate phone lines, then you can claim it back and prosecute them.

I had one this afternoon.

DO NOT press 5 or any other option, you could be transferred to an international line and find yourself paying for it..

Spend 5 minutes and report it to teh Information Commissioners Office here -

You will not end up paying for it. This is illegal and you will be covered by your service provider.

"Important message" as previous respondents - important for them maybe but not for me. Just hung up - pressing 5 or 9 as suggested is, I strongly suspect, going to hit you in the wallet. Caller if you read this get a life and leave the rest of us to enjoy ours.

Got a call from this displayed number at 17.25. It was a recorded message trying to gain my interest in a Pension bonus payment product.  Didn't wait long enougth to hear who was the caller company. Another scam number to be avoided. Given the reported number of unwanted calls from this UK number, why doesn't Telephone Preference Service work?

same here it is never ending and the telephone companies are not going to do anything about it unless you pay so it just needs 1 company to star tsaying no charges for blocking and they will make millions

recorded message about dealing with "my claim"

Said my time to claim was running out. . . . . . .  ppi rubbish.  How can we stop this? Every week we get a couple of calls. This should be illegal.

Received the pension bonus scam call from this 2 days ago and have just reported it's sister number of the same scam - 0161 445 6875.  What's wrong with the authorities here in the UK!!!!!! Get somehting done about these scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
