Just had one of these recorded messages which seem to cut off short so I hung up anyway, bunch of clowns they are!!

The number 01216672481 rang me yesterday for the first time at 15.21pm offering me a cash bonus of £1000 to cash in on part of my private pension which i put the phone down on them. An hour earlier the number 01618263251 called me with exactly the same message as previously described above.

Recorded message...I hung up and didn't wait to hear it all.

I knew it was odd from the start as they do not announce where they are calling from at any point.  I hung up.  If we are owed money on anything we have we will hear through the usual channels - ie the post.  I hope they go away now.

Just dashed downstairs to answer this call to catch the end of a message about pensions. Really think the public are being failed by the authorities who are meant to protect us from this rubbish.

At work we are plagued by PPI, pensions, debt type calls being left on our voicemail. Something needs to be done and sooner rather than later.

Caller display showed this number at 1.34pm today so let the answering machine take the call. Geordie Female voice left the following message

"Our claim records indicate that as you are 60 or under you qualify to receive a £1000 payment payable within the next 6 to 12 weeks. Please press 5 now to clarify your bonus and begin the process. If we have already processed you payment please press 9 to unsubscribe. This message is urgent and  will be dealt with immediately. Please press 5 now."

Called yesterday 11.43am - female voice straight into "Our records show your pension...." - obvious recorded message. Phone put down and line cleared quickly.

Usual waste of time and patience.

Another unwanted call - recorded message to claim for my pension.  Urgent as last day to claim for a refund.
If this is a UK number it should be stopped or made to pay for waste of my time.

Got home to find the light blinking on the answering machine, but there was no message.  1471 identified this as the number (yet again).   So thanks for the posting on this site that said you can complain to the Information Commissioner on http://www.ico.gov.uk/    Off to do that now.

I have call barring on my phone and I use it to stop them from calling back

Told me that time is running out to claim my extra pension. Their records indicate that I am under 60. Ha HA I am nearly 70, so their records are in a mess, and I don' t fall for that type of scam when it's so obvious.

Got called by this number but it was 0441216672481 the 044 bit is the international dialling code for the UK.
It was a message about pensions and tome running out so it put the phone down.

Received a call from this number today. Recorded message regarding my private pension. Said that has I  was 60 or under I would be elligable for a £1000 bonus. I was to press 5 to start the process and that I would get my money in 8 to 12 weeks. At this point I replaced the receiver.

got call from this number. they asked me to verify my age and when I said if they were doing their job properly they should know my age then they hung up

Several recorded calls from 01216672481... same as everybody else in this thread.  I've never had a PPI, nor would I be going through a 3rd party if I had a claim.  The people who work for these companies should be ashamed of themselves, harrassing people like that - and they should obviously be stopped/fined for breaking TPS rules.

And another one.  Calls from 3 different numbers in 3 days.

Just received a call from these peopleIt is high time that offcom dealt them a severe blow, no good going to TPS they are just a paper tiger, I had to grin though messages says "Our claim records indicate that as you are 60 or under" must have preety duff records (if they really have) as I'm not 60 or under I am 70 or over.

Another message from 0121 6672481, just like the one made to those above.
I have never had PPI - don't even have a private pension, and I'm over 60.
What's the point of the TPS?
