Received 'Congratulations' slip today from Universal Consulting in Cheltenham, GL51 8LN, in 2nd class prepaid envelope addressed to Mrs/Ms!!!!. 'Offer' expires on 03 March 2010, just need to telephone 01924 640056.

recieved a congratulation,s slip from national surveys telling me i had won a prize from a local buisiness. all i had to do was confirm the first 3 letters of my surname,and the last 3 numbers of my phone number.i was given a conformation number and told to take 3 forms of id to a local health club to pick up my prize.could it be id theft?. i will contact lancashire trading standards this morning.

Another one from Bucks this morning... 01242 695001 is the new number. my winning ref is ACH 7765 (Now don't go claiming that £12,400 before i do... lol)

asked to call 01924-640056 ...total gift value exceeds £12,400...this is a scam.  the envelope didn't even have our name just Mr/Ms

I recieved a compliment slip and pize ticket from Universal Consulting Ltd today and after reading this blog I have put it in an envelope and sent it back to them.

I have asked them to donate my pizes to Cancer research lol

Hi Steve it was Westgate Health & Fitness,by the old Skem Labour Club. I spoke to Trading Standards this morning,and the lady i spoke to said it didn,t appear to be a scam .She thought it was a ploy to get you down there so they could try and talk you into signing a contract ,the prize was probably a discount.,but she did take the address &telephone number.Rip up your ticket

Just received one of these slips from National Surveys they are now targetting South Wales STD 02920.
I decide to check it out on the internet and I am glad I did, one big scam, dont ring them.
