I'm very tempted to send back to the gloucester address with 'F**k off' written across the 'compliment' slip

82 year old mother in law got winning slip passed it to me to investigate total scam. phone number was local 01924640056

Had one of these winning slips this morning not going to call. I am going to repost it to them telling them that they have won my draw and are recieving their post back marked unknown at this address.

Caerphilly hit today, gives a Cardiff area coded number to ring, it's going straight into my recycling.

I had one this morning. A Local number 01494 980074. Says total gifts exceed £12,400. It's gone straight in the bin after reading this and i shall also be phoning trading standards. I suppose if enough people phone them the more likely these people will be found out. I am worried about the elderly, they are the poor people who fall for these scams.....off to check my grandfathers mail now.

I recieved 1 today to Mrs, Ms .............   Cardiff number to ring this time, BIN IT.

Just recieved the same two slips ... Total value of gifts £12,400 donated by local business.
Expires on 24 March 2010.
I have not phoned the number given 01695 490067 ( another new telephone number listed )
I decided to look up " Universal Consulting Ltd " first, and I am so glad I did.
So come on everyone if you gets one of these try and let as many people know about it as you can and not let these "people" get away with.

I received this morning a Congratulation slip (Victoria House, Cheltenham) saying i've won a free gift value to exceed £12,400.  Wow!! I thought.  Pls ring 02023 920142 before the 1/4/10.  Well i did ring but to my surprise, 'you have dialled a incorrect number.   SCAM.  What a shame! but SERIOUSLY something needs to be done about these letters and calls bcause it is getting out of hand and know one is taking the lead on this serious matter.

Same Scam different amount £12,400 - with a date of expiration of tomorrow 1st April, presumably to induce urgency

Received my 'gift' slip this morning.  I live in Hertfordshire and the no. to ring was 01494 980074.   The envelope was address to Mrs/Ms..........  I've won a free gift and they don't even know my name!!

Received a voucher this morning (8 April).  Same as everyone else but this time with a Cardiff number.  I have to say had it not been for this website I would have more than likely rung them so thanks very much!!

Me, too - also received said compliment slip and Congratulations - so glad I googled and read above comments and did not call the number (02920 990160).  It will be going in the bin.  What can be done about them; on the surface it seems so legitimate.

I got a letter today 12/04/2010 "Mrs/Ms". Decided to check the web, so glad I did, the number to call on mine is 01915 580043 and "gifts" exceed £12,400 with expiry date of 15/04/2010. These people need to be stopped other people don't have access to the net and will end up being scammed.
