- Tracey Coyne| 10 repliesI just had a call from someone Danny Mahon Aims Review about PPI Claim apparently i am entitled to £8237 wanted me to enter into a claim and pay £299 very sceptical about this.
- Caller: Aims Review
- IHateScammers replies to Tracey Coyne| 9 repliesDo not hand over your card details! Ask them how they got that figure. . It was plucked out of thin air. If it wasn't a scam tell them to proceed and say take the fee once they have got your money.. they wont. In any case do it yourself for FREE
- kagsy65 replies to IHateScammers| 3 repliesAfter 4 weeks I am still trying to get my father-in-law's £299 back. The credit card company have said they will look into it as he did not sign anything, so they said they will pursue AIMS and meanwhile they have frozen the £299 on his account so he does not have to pay it. I have reported AIMS to the MOJ. I would urge anyone who has had money taken to go to their credit card provider for help. The more people that do this, the more likely the credit card companies are to stop taking payments for AIMS.
- Ha Ha replies to kagsy65| 1 replyI'm afraid that's never going to happen I've been told they use a merchant services offshore. Everyone should continue to put pressure on the MOJ to cancel their licences for AIMS Review and AIMS Reclaim.
- kagsy65 replies to Ha HaI was just listening to the news report about the Office of Fair Trading clamping down on Pay Day Loan companies. Has anyone reported AIMS to the OFT?
- kagsy65 replies to IHateScammers| 4 repliesI told me father in law today what you said about the callers from AIMS being in Spain. He said that he had asked the caller where they were in the country and she said Blackburn. He knows Blackburn very well indeed and had asked a question about the exact location - the woman was then apparently very vague in her reply. Now we know why.
- Edward Capstick| 3 repliesA local sounding Lancashire lass telephoned asking to use her PPI service and asked for my card number. I explained that I had never had a loan, am a retired farmer and bid her goodbye, but she rang again and I had to disconnect the telephone. BT 1471 informed me that she rang me from Blackburn (01254) 454012. I am concerned that those with less mental agility may be mislead by this company. She stated that the company name was Aims Reclaim. I would urge you all to hangup and contact the police if they bother you. They are very keen to obtain our card details. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing!

- dave replies to Edward Capstick| 2 repliesI've made the very foolish mistake of falling for this scam. How do i go about getting my £299 back ?
It's too late for me to cancel my credit card as they have already charged the card for their fee. - IHateScammers replies to kagsy65Yes I use to get told to put phone down if people asked too many questions about location etc. By the way try street viewing aims' office in blackburn. Its non existent!!!!! If you put post code in it brings you to a car garage.
- IHateScammers replies to kagsy65When I left Aims and went to the police to report fraud the police said oh its an English company so you would have to deal with it in England. So when me and my friends came back to England the english police said there is little they can do as they based in spain!!!! Its a catch 22. Also the contract I signed was in Spanish do something dodgy is definitely happening allowing them to remain immune from punishment! !
- Ha Ha replies to dave| 1 replyTell your credit card company that they have not performed a service and ur aware it's a scam they will refund your money and operate a charge back on AIMS to get their money back. Hope this helps
- Ash| 1 replyMy other half got conned with this last year, when we asked for our money back they said we had to stay with them for a year (because of the contract) before we could even apply to get our money back.
The year was up in jan, we rang, and were told we had to wait ANOTHER MONTH while they processed the cancellation, and they just contacted us this month saying that if they can lower our utilities bills we wont see our money back (trying to get us to use they're services obviously!)
Gonna ring AGAIN today and see what i can do (my other half normally deals with them)
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHRRRRRRRRRR!!!!- Caller: AIMS

- Aims Employee| 6 repliesI actually work for Aims atm & I must confess that we are a right bunch of scammers! The top earners here which I'm not one of can earn anywhere upwards of around 5000 Euro per month if they are professional scammers. Some of the workers here actually like to get the fresh leads for older ladies as they find these much easier to scam which is kind of sad for these people. The scam works like this, they try to convince you as best they can that if they can't get you your PPI refunds back that they will refund you your £299. It actually works like this. You are actually buying a membership which lasts for 12 months & in that 12 months you can use all the different departments at Aims to try to save yourself £299 throughout the year. If this is achieved then you don't get your money back but if it is under £299 you are supposed to get your money back. A lot of people are lead to believe that if you don't get your refund back you are entitled to your £299 back.. NOT THE CASE!!
We are not based in Blackburn but in El Rosario in Marbella, Spain. If anyone ever fancied a trip out here to confront us then I would be more than glad to meet you & send you in the right direction to the office. Mind you make sure you come with a few headcases as they have very conveniently employed an ex military guy/martial artist to sit in the bosses office to protect him & also have another MMA fighter just outside the office if anything goes down.
The main offenders here are Mike Salter & Mike Costello. these guys were also involved in the MRI property scam. Read here

These people in the daily brainwashing session first thing in the morning would lead you to believe that what we are doing isn't wrong its actually right as we are meant to be putting money back in your pockets buyt the way we go about it is totally illegal. The cold call, harassment, lies on the phone has to stop!
Right I'm off to scam another vulnerable customer. MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!- Caller: Aims Review
