thanks - Collettei wouldnt mind speaking to these people from Lloyds if they actually spoke English! they cannot even say my name! i have a payment programme in place yet they ring me every month. Yet if they dont ring the get in the [***]! If you have a newish phone, there is something called a reject list, add this number to that list and every time they phone, it will not come through just tell you, you have had a missed call.........hope that helps some of you! cause i was getting really frustrated!
- Johnrecieved 5 answer phone messages with some indian man saying my name followed by an automated message asking me to to call 0845 6006393,
called llyods tsb customer care on the number provided on their website who confirmed it was lloyds credit collection.... but i dont have a lloyds card and never have!?!- Caller: Lloyds credit collection
- Vanessa MorganI received a call from this number yesterday and when I refused to give my personal details the 'Indian-accented' voice became very rude. Reading other comments I now believe the call came in relation to my credit card rather than my bank account due to the fact that I had forgotten to pay my credit card bill!!!! (First time in years!!) So I am writing to Lloyds TSB card services to complain and suggest if we have to be asked for personal details we should also be able to ask a security question of the caller to confirm they are who they say they are.
- RuthThese calls have only started recently to my mobile, they never leave a message and are rude when i do talk to them. Is it worth reporting it to anyone. After reading some of the comments on here i'm worried as i dont have a credit card or a debit card with lloyds.
- Caller: Lloyds tsb?
- RodI see one of the scum from the Call Centre in Brighton has posted here. Don't believe their lies. They work for peanuts so they need to phone to hit their quotas. The joke is that Lloyds has already been out begging for your money because of their financial ineptatude.
As long as you write to them telling them 'They cannot phone you, but must communicate only by letter' they have absolutely no right to phone and are in fact committing the following offences:
The laws governing the Harassment of alleged debtors under Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970 are quite clear and their 'nuisance' telephone calls after the receipt of a request not to call may constitute a criminal offence under section 127 (2) of the Communications Act 2003.
Every individual has a right to be free from harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, and the offence of causing harassment is arrestable under the provisions of Section 24(2) of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. Additionally Section 3 of that act enables a person who is, or may become, the victim of behavior prohibited by Section 1 to take civil proceedings against the perpetrator.
In one single day they are committing multiple breaches of section 127(2)(a-c) of the Communications Act 2003, by their 'Improper use of public electronic communications network':
(2) A person is guilty of an offence if, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another,
he—
(a) sends by means of a public electronic communications network, a message that he knows to be false,
(b) causes such a message to be sent; or
(c) persistently makes use of a public electronic communications network.
(3) A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable, on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale, or to both."
Report them to the police and other statutory authorities, including your local Trading Standards department, the Financial Services Authority, the Office of Fair Trading and the Banking Ombudsman.

- WillRecieved three calls in one day from three different Mumbai based call centre operatives, each of whom struggled to grasp a great deal of what was said.
This is my work telephone number and I just don't have the patience for it. If you speak to the Lloyds credit card direct on the 0845 number you can remove telephone numbers from there contact list but as a final note, this system sucks balls and the fact that by simply looking on a system to see if a customer has been contacted would stop duplicate time wasting calls......- Caller: Lloyds TSB- Credit Card Services
- SteveSome one called on this number yesterday claiming to be from Lloyds TSB although they would not confirm which department. They were told that any problem I had would be dealt with. Male Indian caller who had no business or common sense and would not take anything but the way he wanted to do it. Have received yet another call today. If this is LTSB do they know what they are doing??? Is this harrassment.
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- Mrs AI received a very rude and abrupt call from this number. It's Lloyds TSB's collections department.
When I refused to give my personal details over the telephone, they were very rude with me.
If someone calls me and asks me for my personal details, I want to be sure that I can verify who they are first!!
I fyou get a call from them, rather than giving your personal details to an incoming call, you can call them back instead on thier contact number of 0845 600 6283 so you can be sure who you are speaking to.- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- SamThese people are calling from Bangalore and tihs is the call center number for Collection Agency. They called me up yesterday and asked for credit card details to pay back £ 3700.wtf ??but there was no harassment or anything and it was a young lady.I told her i lost my card and so i need to query with bank and can respond bck.So she told me she will put a note on my account and will give a call back after 2 days. She after became friendly and had some friendly chat for 10 -15 minutes :)
- Caller: Collection Department(Llyods TSB)
- CatI too have just fallen prey to these idiots... they were very rude when I wouldn't give up my personal details, apparantly there is a problem with my credit card. There certainly is AS I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD idiots.
- Caller: Llyods TSB
- LindsayI am being harrassed by these inept idiots and yet I am no longer a customer of Lloyds!!!
My partner arranged a 90% settlement in December 2007 which was accepted and we paid. Every month thereafter these fools call me, usually at around 9pm after my kids are in bed and/or during Bank Holiday weekends.
I have asked more than five times for them to update my details as it is written on my file that the account is settled but no one seems to have the authority to do so. Last month I was charged a late fee and issued with a Default Notice which I was told to ignore and yet these [***] still keep pestering me.- Caller: LloydsTSB
- jennigot a call from these, didnt answer . . i dont use loyds tsb cc services tho so why are they calling?
- KianiSeems i am getting a lot of these crank calls at the moment... but the numbers vary day to day. I am going to visit Lloyds on the weekend anyway and let them know about this. As far as i am concerned a legitimate call from Lloyds would have left a message, and not have a stupid recorded message " you were called by Lloyds TSB today. We will call you later"
I have signed up to the phone preference service. but it hasnt stopped these calls....- Caller: Allegedly Lloyds. I dont believe it is
- Nick BSuprisingly this does appear to be genuine. I gave a false postcode and they said it was incorrect. When I said I would phone Lloyds they were fine. I phoned lloyds and they confirmed it is the credit card collection service - I had missed a payment...
The guy from lloyds confirmed it was calls routed through from India and that they had a few calls about it..
I honestly dont know why these companies do this - I had similar from Barclays not long ago but I was very politely agressive and pointed out that I was on the "no callers list" and would be shutting my account down because of the calls..Never heard from them again. - DaveI hav ebeen having these calls too, someetimes 1 a day sometimes 3 or 4, I am now going thru a debt management company and Lloyds keep telling me that there has not been an arrangement set up, but the letters i have received state otherwise, I wish the was some comunication between departments....
- Caller: Llyods TBS Credit Card
- vorleysay its Lloyds TSB and want to talk about account. they ask for personal details which i dont give. HOW can we stop these calls?

- nooneHad a call from this number about my overdraft. Calls from this number are legit. They ask for postcode & date of birth for ID. Think about it - this is in the public domain anyway so if anyone wanted to commit ID fraud there are cheaper, easier & stealthier ways of doing it!
Anyway, spoke tho a very helpful chap from ENGLAND (had a bit of a cor-blimey accent) and straightened my accounts up quickly. I'm also on the TPS but the young fella explained that the TPS is for COLD CALLING ONLY - this is NOT cold calling because I OWE the money and am an EXISTING customer. I've checked this out on the Ofcom website. They can't call me to sell stuff if I'm not a customer, but they have an obligation to contact me if I am in arrears.
TBH I'm thankful for this, cos if they hadn't called me I'd be hammered for charges and moaning about that! Maybe what they need to do is send this chap over to india to educate them (or move the call centres over here!)- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- MartinGot a call from this number today, luckly had an English chap on the phone, not an Indian one - the ones I read bad comments about. They asked for my date of birth and address. Lloyds TSB sends all my statements to my correct address and every time I call them, THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT ONE, AND THEY CAN'T HELP CAUSE I DIDNT PASS SECURITY CHECK. I have been to the lloyds tsb branch TWICE, and have spoken about it at least 5 times over the phone and send a letter confirming the correct address, THEY HAVE NEVER changed it to the correct one... therefore cant even speak to these guys that call from this number. I DEEPLY HATE LLOYDS TSB
