I have worked for LTSB for a number of years and I can confirm that this number is in fact LTSB chasing {the person they ask for} for money due to arrears on an account and this is the last stage before they start sending the solicitors on you. I have fallen into arrears previously so I know first hand how rude these people are............. better off speaking to them and agreeing terms of repayment before it's too late.

Well even if the area code is 012 I still think its a call centre I have had two calls today both with an indian accent and there is also a delay..  I have had calls in the past from #123 these scammers use all kinds of codes to cover up where they are calling from.  The first call asked for my personal info I said they had called me so they said they couldn't help if I didn't provide this info.  Then I said I would go into the branch so they said it was extremely important and I should.  Then literally 10 seconds later the same call again but from a lady.  BE WAREY !!!!

If they are chasing the money like you say then what is it about if you are not in arrears my account is more than in credit so why are they phoning me I have never been overdrawn in my life.... TSB HAVE JUST CONFIRMED TO ME THAT THIS NUMBER IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM THEY ARE INVESTIGATING AND IGNORE ANYBODY THAT SAYS OTHERWISE AS ITS POSSIBLE THEY ARE IN ON THE SCAM!!!! Also I asked if it was a call centre in india and they said it is working on behalf of TSB... RUBBISH !!!! even TSB are not this unprofessional

For the avoidance of doubt it was when the pests saying they are TSB called I asked if it was a call centre in india and they said yes

We had a call from them and they leave a Voice name then it goes to an automated meassage asking you to call them about a personal matter.  We have problems with the account are going through a debt management programe so we dont have to speak to them.  Get Choose to refuse put on your landline through BT and just block the number that way.

An Indian chap has been phoning my mobile from this number. His tone is very loud and rude.  I have a Lloyds bank account, but no credit cards. Could these calls be connected with Sechiari, Clark & Mitchell who are solicitors for Lloyds in Brighton?  I refuse to speak to anyone unless I have initiated the call.

I have bought a PAYG SIM card which apparently used to belong to someone who got into problems with Lloyds TSB.  

I have told them that I am not the person in question but they continue to call me every day.

Have been getting calls from this mob for months - have never answered and always check unknown numbers online, hence finding this site.  They've now started texting me. I had a credit card with Lloyds TSB about 5 years ago, wasn't in debt to them but simply paid it off and haven't had any dealings with them since.  What I want to know is how did they get my mobile number?  I bought this phone brand new in Feb this year and only give out to mates.  Very dodgy - will be contacting Lloyds and my mobile provider.

I've been called by this number for several times, including Sunday. If it is real Lloyds TSB, why they not rest in Sunday?

I thought it was a bit somebody should phone me and ask for my personal details.  I told them so and then afterwards rang Lloyds TSB - in fact it was their credit card department - they want me to use them otherwise I may have to pay a fee.  What a lovely and caring bank (not)!

i have had numerous calls from this number stating there is a problem with my account when i informed them that i cancelled my account with lloyds 2 months previous they got very rude called me a liar then hung up

This is a genuine Lloyds number based in Brighton, a number of friends have actually worked for them.  The problem is, they tend to be extremely rude.  I just had a phone call about a missed credit card payment whilst at work.  I told the indian woman that I did not want to deal with it now as I was in my office and she became very aggressive and eventually put the phone down on me.   So there's no scams, just extremely bad customer service.  And I thought HSBC were bad.

01273743574 called at lunch today, gave my name correctly and said they were from lloyds tsb and wanted to ask security questions.

i stated that i dont give personal information to outbound calls, the guy (southern england accent) was reasonably polite, said ok, no problem and hung up.

to be honest, i probably believe it was them - but, no-one should EVER give out their details to a cold caller, regardless of where they say they are from. ask them politely to write to you - as they supposedly have your details already...

this number has called me well over 100 times recently asking for a Mr Watson, and i have politely(and recently not so politely)told him there is no-one here by that name and then he has said 'well whats your name?you will do'....THE CHEEK OF IT!!!!!now they have started sending a recorded message that you cannot hang up on!!!

oh and also they have started ringing up quite late in the evenings and at the weekend!it is infuriating!

Yep, it sucks doesn't it?  I once had an amazingly bad experience with HSBC after they revealed a load of private information to my fiances brother who was in my house at the time.  He had been borrowing the study to work in during the day and had got bored with the calls and eventually gave in to see how secure their service actually was.  Despite him saying he was me (a woman!) the HSBC caller proceeded with the call asking all sorts of things.  

He deliberately got questions wrong and adopted a guessing style of answer to arouse suspician but this made little difference.  He eventually got hold of my mortgage detail payment, where I worked (eg where my salary came from) and some other details.  When I got in and heard what had happened I was furious.  I rang the bank and complained, asked for call transcripts and all sorts.  HSBC swung into action and after promising the transcript which they previously acknowledged they had got it 'suddenly became unavailable'.  

This was after they sent a heavily doctored version that conveniently had all of the naughty bits left out as they said those bits were 'unclear' on the recording!  Absolute turds they are and this was at 'top level management'.

To cut a very long story short they just lied and lied until I got so sick of it I couldn't be bothered anymore.  The worlds local bank?  They're definitely the worlds something or other I can't write here!  So, moral of the story?  If a bank calls you tell them to hop it.  If they do get it wrong they will crawl back to their holes and deny it all.  Avoid HSBC especially with a bargepole, cannot be trusted.

I had a lot of miss calls from them since 2 weeks... so i've googled the number and find your comments. Just for see, I've answered to them 1h ago. She wanted to dpeak to E Denis, apparently she didn't even know my first name.....
When the Indian Lady started to speak about my account, i said straight away that the overdraft was all about bank charges and that a lawyer was already in charge of the case, because i don't want to put any more money on it. She then gets upset, started to shout at me, saying that she was going to allow me to a 700 Pounds overdraft (mine is 480), stop the charges, and to propose me to pay monthly and end my overdraft within 6 months. I then said: Well "it's good cos noone actually proposed me anything like that everytime i called they just wanted me to pay all in one shot."At this moment I was thinking that we are discussing quietly between adults and that even if my O/D is due to their charges i'd rather accept sthing and stop those charges. She then said that i'm lying that i've never bothered call them, i said "no this is a lie!". Then she started to scream at me and said that if i want to be silly she will not propose anthing more and she'll make sure i'll get charged 20 Pounds a day!!!!!!!! i tried to calm her down but then realize there were no-one on the other side.....

I had a few calls from this number on my mobile and I've blocked it!  Just checked with Lloyds TSB and it is a HOAX!!!!  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS!!!!
