what can happend if i give them my details ?

I am getting fed up of these people calling me between 815 am to 845 pm . Having spoken to them and referred them to another person who can give them the information they required they continue to pester me

Ive been getting these calls for weeks, nearly one a day, but as i cant answer my mobile at work ive never answered it. Ive just googled the number and here you are! Thanks for the advice - no way gonna gove my details now!!

27 calls in three weeks from Lloyds TSB call centre, I told them not to call again they told me it was there computer dialing automatically...........good excuse

Same problem  - this number has been calling me for weeks demanding to speak to someone who doesn't live here and never has. I asked to speak to a supervisor but they insisted I had to give them my name and address so they could assist...they already had my number, all they had to do was remove it from the database. Eventually a supervisor agreed to do just that and still the calls continue.....I don't even have an account with them!

Card services were trying to get in contact with me but instead of accepting this number, hang up and ring the customer services department of Lloyds TSB for you credit card or personal account card.  They are also quite rude on the phone, you don't have to put up with this.

I'm 100% positive this is LTSB collections for accounts as I have an account in arrears w them. Every penny of my debt with them is due to charges of up to £215 a month. I have a charges complaint lodged with them so I'm not bothered cos will get it all back and close account after banks LOSE test case at end of year. I did write to them about arrears and said had no intention of paying back debt which is due to soon to be illegal charges, calls stopped for a month or so, but now 3 times daily again. LTSB have now stopped charging me so will ignore calls until Test case ends, glad I have never answered as they sound like t**sers. They will never take you to court over charges cos they know they'll lose! Very grateful for info on this site!!

Keep getting calls from this number, even though I don't have an account with LLoyds.

I am going to contact Lloyds bank direct and ask them why they are not doing more to close this number down.

I called telephone banking Lloyds TSB have confirmed this is one of thier numbers its the credit card call centre in india when I called this number back I got NU and when I asked the agent what part of Lloyds they calling from they cut the call off also the call took over 1 second to connect to the agent Lloyds are breaking ofcom reg's so report the number to ofcom this should result in Lloyds TSB incurring a fine for breaking the silent calls regulations.

I keep getting this very offensive  foreign accented person phoning me to say my acount has a problem which cant be so as I cleared the account a number of months ago. they just dont listen to you

I get about 5 calls from this number a day! They also once called my landline (don't know how they got the number) and my BF told them to take the number off their list....and ended up arguing with them because they either couldn't understand him or where just plain rude and uncooperative!

How can I stop them calling my mobile?

I'm fine with Lloyds TSB contacting me but like most of you, i thought the number looked dodgy and I don't like someone who has called me asking for my personal details!

i got a missed call to my mobile from this number but when i tried to call back, there was a "the number you have dialled is not recognised" message

I have had a voicemail and a call on this number today.... a asian gut answerwsd and asked for my d.o.b and first line ov my address.

2 calls in 2 days so I googled the number and found this site, how can I get call barring?

Ok so it has been established that this number is from a Lloyds TSB credit line, how they have got away with it for so long is beyond me. Surely it IS classed as harrasment??
Don't ever give any details or call them back on their premium rate line but as it is not costing you anything other than a few minutes of your time you have the option of taking advantage and turning the tables... it will give you a giggle by the end of the call...Just do as i do and quote the most random poetry that comes to mind (although remember to keep your dignity and not be vulgar)or explain that "you love the way blue strawberries bounce off the noses of pink dogs" or do impressions of your favourite tv character or invent one of your own.
sorry that this is of not useful information but it is one way of detracting from the stress of it!

I have had numerous calls from this number,always an indian sounding man or woman,claiming to be from TSB Bank and asking me if I would like to make a card payment via my internet bank account.
I make my payments in my local branch and advise people to do the same if possible.

Hi,

They called TWICE in the space of 30 minutes - both times a dead line when answered. I would assume they wanted me to 'return call' - and at what price anyway.

Has anyone managed to stop calls from this number???
