This company called every day saying they were from LloydsTSB, and always by people who didn't speak English as their first language, asking for me to confirm what number they had called and that if I didn't confirm the number back to them and state my name, then they could not stop calling me.  I eventually had my number changed through BT, however they now charge £24.99 for a NEW number, which was actually a very old number and they never give numbers free now, even if you are getting harassed or threatened.  I then started getting the calls again from LloydsTSB and was furious with them for calling me on my supposedly Unlisted, Ex-directory number on the TPS service through BT, which I was also paying for their "Choose to Refuse" service at £4.99 per month, which doesn't work if the caller is international or decides to withhold their number.  I eventually threatened them with the police and Ofcom and they have now stopped.  I'm not totally convinced I'll never hear from them again.

I'm more than positive that this is a Phishing company trying to get your name attached to your number and your post code which is then sold on to harass you further.  I called LloydsTSB having been a satisfied customer for many years and advised them of the numbers associated with these calls, and they assured me that they have nothing registered with the numbers quoted.
This caller is the cancerous scammer who simply wants your information to sell on.

I have taken  many calls from "lloyds Bank" for my student daughter in the past week.

She has visited her own branch locally and there are no problems or issues

Had a call and chap asked for my DOB and it was regarding a business matter - I only have a Credit Card with Lloyds.

Called Lloyds on lost card number as I felt they would take fraud seriously - use 9 as an option to get straight to a person. Very helpful and the number IS NOT on the Lloyds system so I did right to hang up !

Called about ten minutes ago and cam straight on here as didn't know the number. Bit dubious as to whether it is Lloyds or not.  Answered the phone but there was no one there so hung up.  Have never known big companies to use such a number they normally use 08 or withheld numbers so quite dubious whether it is legit or not

this cannot be lloyds calling to talk about accounts ect as i have never had any accounts with them,my number is only 2 days old and not listed,these people are scammers after your name address ,DOB,bank details ect.
i just told them to go away.

here we go again. more calls from this number!!..i called them back today on and was greated with a recorded message saying call 0845 600 6297 which i did, i told them that i will not except the amount of harassing calls to my new unlisted number for someone i have never heard of and that they were about to be reported to the poilce for harrassment.i was told to go into my local branch of llyods to comfirm i am not the person they are looking for. i will be doing this tommorrow as i have the time but will not be giving them any personal info and will tell them the same as i told the guy on the phone, that any further calls from 01273 743 574 will result in legal action..
I await the constant phone calls from 01273 743 574 tomorrow, and prob will be banned from my local lloyds in the process..haha

Please do let us know how you get on with that! I have had this everyday for several weeks - it is now becoming harassment. I have no business whatsoever with them and they are now using SMS! I have reported to TPS and ICO, but not sure what's coming of it. It doesn't sound legit at all...

sure will  deep breath here we go!!..I went into my local llyods branch today and at the counter  in a fiirm but polite voice ( just a bit loud so the other customers could hear) stated that i am not and have never been a customer of llyods but i have a complaint reguarding telephone harrasment..within 2 mins the assistant manger came out and took me into a side office.
i explained that i had called their  0845 600 6297 number last night and was told go to my local branch and prove my identity, i asked the question " just who do llyods think they are requesting i do so?"
I am very sorry came the reply from the manager. The manger denied that the 01273 number was theirs untill i told her to phone it and she was redirected to llyods collections dept.
i am very sorry came the reply.i then went on to explain the constant phone calls to my ex directory number and the harrassment and intimidation when my wife answered the phone, and that if this did not stop forthwith i would be taking legal action against the bank ( im sure i can find a EU law somewhere to cover this) maybe the Protection from Harassment Act 1997  "im so so sorry" came the reply again..i was the asked for my contact details which i gave but stated that under the data protection act i did not want my details held in a database,sold,or used for any other means but to contact me on this matter. the assistant manager then siad she wou have to consult with the manager and get back to me...i wait his responce..or more phone calls from 01273743574 tommorrow.
if this does not stop i will be starting legal procccedings against llyods and their agants soon..

I got a call yesterday asking for my daughter.  I told the woman she doesn't live here any more, so she rang again today. I'm not usually rude to people I don't know, but she really annoyed me.   Dur!  My daughter advised Lloyds of her change of address and I know for sure because her statements don't come here any more.  So Lloyds must know her new address.    I'm not happy that Lloyds use this call centre.

that worked..no more calls..why not do the same if your not a llyods customer, and keep getting these calls.

This is total rubbish - I've never had any dealings with LTSB and nor do I owe them a single penny so why do they ring me?

More importantly how do I get them to stop?

Just had a call from this number, Indian guy, saying he was phoning from a finance company of behalf of Lloyds TSB asked for my first line of address, postcode, and D.O.B - then said, "Oh I'm sorry, please ignore this call, it was made in error!"

Sorry to be pessimistic, but can you be sure you are rid of these horrid calls? Looking back through my records, there seems to be a pattern, approximately 3 times a week, although the timing does vary.

I have no had to turn my voicemail service off since where I was blocking the calls they left me the same answer message. They have now resorted to texting me.

My response from the ICO was to write and complain...

They have rung several times and asked me to ring 0845 6006393 which I have not done.

I have been trying to sort this for over a week, the calls are coming from a call centre in India, i am finding that Lloyds is allowing people's details to be given out to these centres (Data Protection Act)?so these people have access to your details.

I am leaving Lloyds because i think there might be a security issue here if details are being given out to a third party.

i have spoken to the police re data protection etc i was advised to go to local Citizens Advise and let them sort. I was also to tell my phone provider and get it blocked telling them i have spoken to the Police.
