Just recieved a call from this number asking form my D.O.B. they were from TSB Trustcard When i ask him to contact me by letter he hung up.I contacted Loyds Tsb and told them the number  they did not recognise it

caller said they are from lloydstsb, and asked for post code details, cannot identify the caller, but they it was a woman, with a foreign accent. caller said there was a problem with the account, and would not elucidate on the matter, unless personal details were given first.

They called me few times. Said that they are Lloyds tsb, and asked to confirm DOB.
I said that if they calling me it means to me that they know who I am and I'm not giving any personal details over the phone.
They insist few times, but eventually hanged up.

Over the past since Wednesday (23rd March) I have had 6 calls from this number (01273743574) claiming to be Lloyds TSB all they will say is it is a person matter. I've stopped answering them now. They are very insistant.

Again I have been called for someone that doesn't even live here.  I am constantly repeating the same thing.  I have complained to local branch.  But no one seems to be able to stop these calls.
Is there anyone at Lloyds that can help?   I don't think so!

I get lots of calls from this number sometimes as unknown and some times caller phone number displayed. Do these people have nothing else to do?

It is Lloyds TSB. It is their collections department. They have been calling me, when they finally left a message on my answer phone due to me not answering they left an 0845 number for me to ring which Lloyds TSB do recognise as being theirs.

However when calling this 0845 number, the guy I spoke to was VERY VERY rude, talking over me and not listening to a word I was saying.

Id suggest anyone who has problems with their Lloyds account tries to deal with the FRIENDLY staff in branch rather than the RUDE people calling from this number

same happens with me. they call my mobile which i ignore, then seconds later my house phone is ringing. they also ring me at all times of the day. as early as 8.30 on a saturday!

this IS a genuine Lloyds tsb number.

It is their Brighton collection centre - they'll only call if you've missed a payment of some sort.

I know because I used to work for Lloyds.

Also, for those saying it is an India call centre - Lloyds TSB do NOT have any call centres acroad.

oh dear thought i had got rid of them calling, but now their back..if i help them find the person called carol perhaps they will stop calling, wonder if they will offer me a reward next time they call??
might be a shame if they stop calling me as its the only phone calls we ever seem to get lol...

It may be a legitimate LloydsTSB number, but it is also a call centre in India. I know this because they call me looking for my husband, who is away with the army and as I was getting fed up of saying the same thing every day and won't tell me what it is about, I asked the name of the person calling and where they were calling from and was told that it is bangalore in india, so if it is a legitimate lloydsTSB number, they do use call centres in India.

Its there card collection service, If you have a LloydsTSB credit card and have missed payments, and your card has maxed it self out (and no money has gone in for 3 months), then you will be getting the calls!

If you do hang up and ignore them its on your own head,
Be aware that if you DON'T HAVE a LloydsTSB credit card, your personal information could have been stolen, (you WILL also get calls if the last person who lived in the house has maxed out there cards and have not passed on there details to Lloyds TSB,) and  to be honest I would pick up the phone and find out, I would hate to be you, if some one had opened Credit card using your details and house address,

If you do have a card from Lloyd, it (can) lasts step before, LloydsTSB look to the getting a bailiffs and courts get involved, if the dept is over £15000
A simple reply on the phone will often put them off for another month, (you can often work out a deal where you pay a small amount back each month at this point, with out ruining you credit history)

Any one who says this number is a prank call or just  people tring to get money out of you, are delusional, and really needs to look at there depts, or to find out if some one has opend a credit card in your name using your address

0845 6006393 is lloyds collections department number my local branch have confirmed this when i went into complain about harrasment.
My id has not been stolen and my address is not being used by anyone else and i have never had any dealings with lloyds..
My brand new ex directory number has been entered into their auto phone dialing system incorrectly under someone elses name and they refuse to remove/correct it.
I will keep complaining in branch several time a week untill they stop calling me and harrasing my wife in a rude/offencive way.
( llyods staff on this thead please note you have some training issues to address!!)
If you owe money to llyods/tsb then there is not much you can do to stop them calling apart from coming to an arrangement to pay..they cant take what you dont have and will come up with payment plan for you ( please take C.A.B advise).

There are alot of posts here from people who have never had any dealing with llyods/tsb and still get harrased..if your interested i can set up a mass complaint letter online to sign and sent off to llyods/tsb head office?

This number has been calling me throughout the days on my mobile and home phone. I usually just cancel the call but it is very annoying. Is there a way to block these calls ? I think it is a scam.

got a call from them 01273743574 asking for some1 mrs somebody and i told them they have a wrong number they requested my address details i refused 3 times and told them do i sound like a mrs  i am a man in stockton i said but refused to give them any more details annoying people

Why all the discussion? This lot are a bunch of crooks.

this number calls at odd times and when we answer the phone they just hang up! we are a business number not a residential number too.

why are you all complaining? its the lloyds collection department ringing you to talk about money you owe them. bury your heads in the sand all you want but you should probably be speaking to them if they are calling you. people thinking its a scam or that they shouldn't be receiving these calls need to get a grip. if you were in control of your finances they wouldn't be calling you.

A lot of people here have NO connection with Lloyds whatsoever,never mind owe them money!

I rang 1471 then rang TSB who said it was their Credit Card department I had missed a payment. I t is the wrong way to go about it as I had six calls over a short space of time & I will not give personel information out over the phone.
