just had call from this number prenting to be Lloyds TSB.

I jumped straight on to google that sent me here.

what a great site all phone calls ought to go via this site and block all reported calls...  

Oh What heaven to only get calls from people you want to to talk to... we can dream !

Reported to be from Lloyds TSB asked me to confirm my DOB, I refused

they called from few days but in lloyds dont knowed about them. if lloyds want contact with u they sent letter with numbers  to contact. they want details wichones they shoudnt ask over the phone. i told them another call from this number and i report them to the police

I have been getting calls from this number today - I am refusing to answer as a few months ago I recieved calls in the evening and was told that they were solicitors acting for Lloyds. I said that I was not to be called at home in this manner and that any solicitor will need to write to me. When I enquired with the Lloyds branch the following day, they said they could not comment as they are not aware of any such arrangements with solicitors!

I have these calls every single day, including one just now at 6.30pm on a sunday!

They ask for someone who isn't even on my number!

I keep telling them and they say they'll take my number off their system but they don't - not happy one bit.

I don't even bank with lloyds, neither does anyone on my number and I definitely wouldn't after this harassment.

I get called by this number periodically, sometimes I have answered only to have to put down the phone when the person asks who I am and when I ask who they are they refuse to confirm their ID.  Well...  They know who they are phoning, surely?  I didn't answer but phoned back today and yes- it is Lloyds TSB.  Only I don't HAVE any current banking/etc matters with them (not in the past fifteen YEARS) so I consider this to be definite harassment.

Just had a phone call on my mobile from Lloyds TSB asking me to give personal information about my address, date of birth etc.  When I refused and asked what was it about she just said that it was a personal matter and would not say what.  Mmm I smell a rat here.

This definitely is Lloyds TSB - i'm used to getting these calls now haha. You get it when you are late on your credit card payment. Technically it isn't actually Lloyds TSB, but someone on behalf of them.
But yeah, the only way I can get rid of them is if I pay my credit card on time ha!!
It isn't a hoax - i phoned up the proper Lloyds TSB Number and if you say you were called by this particular number, they tell you that is their External Collections Department or something like that - so don't worry everyone.

The little pests ring at home, mobile AND work which is the most annoying!!

as a LLoyds customer recieving this call, I rang and spoke to lloyds head office, the 01273 743 574 number is from the lloyds collection department, they have several numbers from which they call customers and only one to receive calls, to confirm this i then rang again to confirm if the 0845 6006297 number was a lloyds tsb number and again a different person told me without any account details the number was from the collections centre

I have just recieved a telephone call from a lady with a very strong Indian accent. It was difficult to understand her. I got very suspicious when she asked for my date of birth and othe rpersonal information. I refused to give such information.
Is this a scam????

ive had 4 calls from this number in the last 2 days , each time i answer i say hello 3-4 times , they dont answer and then they hang up..

I've had these phone calls a couple of times a day for the past week. There is NEVER anyone on the other end. I do have a Lloyds credit card, but I've paid off what they'va asked, so theres no reason for them to be calling. In our house we're wary of silent phone calls because we're having trouble with someone who's threatened my sister. For that reason I reported them to ofcom earlier today. For the record, even if they did call, I wouldn't give them my personal information anyway. If they call you a few times and ask for different details each time, they can soon find out any security information. It's no safer than being stupid enough to believe an e-mail that claims to be your bank and asks you to enter your pertinent details

It does look like it is LLoyds TSB as my wife recived a call from them and wouldn't give any details across.  We asked them for a number to contact them and the man on the phone gave 0845 6006393 to phone them back again as he wouldn't give us any details.  We then phoned the number on the back of the VISA and it appears that when my wife took her card out and setup a direct debit at the same time it takes 6 weeks for the first payment to come out and therefore missed a payment even though we was not told this.  So be vigalent and phone them back and check that your direct debits :)

GEtting constant calls from them and they leave blank voice mails all the time

Its a scam that even Lloyds seem unable to get to the bottom of themselves. I'm taking it to Watchdog and OFCOM to deal with the constant harrassment of phonecalls and then closing my account with Lloyds once and for all.  Now I know why they've been voted the worst bank for customer service.
