jesus christ some of you are pathetic. Lloyds ask you to confirm your DOB so they know they are talking to the right person and not someone else about your DEBT, you know, money you owe them.

Wow, Royds TSB are so ignorant when it comes to your own finances.  Do any of your customers owe out as much you?

You see nothing - if Royds did, they wouldn't have needed everyone else to bail them out.  And, Royds debt collectors should be busy substantiating the debt in question, and checking to see if the debtor is on that number before they call.  Numbers and addresses do change...

A company's only as good as the people who work for it, and when you work for a notoriously reviled, shabby company like Royds, you're in no position to be calling anyone else a loser.  And, they've been chopping thousands of employees in recent times as well - of which you could well be next, here's hoping.

I'm getting these calls too. So far have avoided speaking to anyone. I'm doubtful these are genuine. But I am Lloyds customer - bit worrying :/?

Get calls from this number almost every day. They claim to be lloyds tsb but my local branch think its fraudulent as I dont have an account.  When I told caller this us a fraudulent call she said ' i have no ibformation about that'

They shouldnt be ahrrasssing people like this in the first place, use the postal system!!!

Why is it harrassment? a bank calling their customers (or not in some cases) to discuss the account they hold with them is a fairly standard procedure i would imagine

no-one here, apart from those saying they did speak and sorted it out, is taking the calls.

i can see why people my think im just having a laugh but in truth im just a little shocked that people refuse to take the calls despite it probably being in their interest to do so.

Multiple calls on home number and mobile phone number during day and out of office hours - Not live caller just recorded message asking for urgent call back to LloydsTSB (which I do not have an account with). One message left finally included name they were trying to contact. Name unconnected with me and not associated with either off my telephone numbers which I have had for years.

If any organisation is serious about contacting you, they would use a real person and/or write. So have blacklisted this number on my phone.

Get calls from them, never had any Lloyds TSB cards or accounts. Explained it is not me - told them my name (NOT the person they wanted), got abusive so I hung up!
They continue to call I ignore & they never leave a message.

It's all very well Lloyds TSB people & other saying we should face up to our debts - but they are not MY debts!

got a call from this number said my first name rather than being called mrs such and such, said can i take a number to call back on and hung up. lloyds wouldnt call on a sunday for a start.

Im 15 and i thought it was just a prank call so i hung up instantly, i dont know what they were going to say

rang my mobile and my work number.

after reading the posts here i know why they would ring as i missed my last credit card payment.
so if it is Lloyds TSB Collections Department as stated by pete in 2008 then that make sense.
i think the problem with this is that the persons english is poor and the call when you talk goes quiet which is what would normally happen on a call center head set...

this just makes it seem dodgy thats all

Phone call from 01273 743574. re my ex wife's bank account at Lloyds TSB. Curiously, the bank do not have my phone number in the records for this account. Checked with the bank the account was in order. Annoying thing about the call was that the caller had an oriental accent, maybe Chinese, and appeared to be completely stupid.

Hey. I'm 17 and today in school my friend told me she has been getting weird calls from this number, so I told her I will find out who that is for her. She told me, that when she answers the phone, she can only hear someone breathing in and breathing out. Is that some kind of dodgy service?
She said noone talked to her during the 'conversation', and this kind of calls has been repeated 7 times now in which the same sound of someone breathing is taking place.
She has credit card from Lloyds and so do I. But I didn't get calls from this number in my life.

they been phoning 5 times a day for weeks

i have had messages left saying they sre mha??never heard of them but i do have a lloyds cc and am late with payment but they will have to wait!!

i have calls 5 times a day from this number dont know how they got my mobile as it is a new phone had a call 3am in morning just terrible harassment from these people WHO ARE THEY

I've now had two calls from this number with auto messages left saying they are regarding a personal business matter.  I called Lloyds on the number on the website and they said it sounds like a scam as i don't have a business account with them.

I was getting calls from 01273743574, it is an Indian call centre for TSB. I stopped the calls by answering when they phoned me and just kept quiet as they spoke, they got fedup before I did. HeHe!!
