Continuously getting rude phone calls from this number up to 5 times a day, have taken to diverting the calls to my answer machine as I refuse to be spokle to like it. They are loud, abusive, derogatory and generally not pleasant. I want it to stop, have asked them to stop but still they ring, 3 times in the last 5 minutes.

Oh and the first few days they claimed to be lloyds tsb but have since said they are HSBC and Barclays! Always ask for DOB, never get my name rightN they say wheeler or beaver, and the background noise varies from a bus to crowded shop

I just recieved a call also from a woman explaining i owe money to which i have already seen someone from my local lloyds bank and have told them about problems i been getting with my money being stopped. The Manager told me he would put something up on the system regarding the problems im having, so im guessing to whatever banks you might have a little bit of debt with these people or whom ever they are could hack into the mainframes or whatever you call it, take a limited amount of our details like Name and contact numbers and they try to get other details from us like our more private details. Im going to phone the Lloyds head office and ask them what is going on and if any problems we do have should come directly from our own bank manager/ess explaining what solutions they have.. Anyway must dash.....

I have had calls from them, when I say "prove you are lloyds" they say "I assure you I am". A similar response from my side does not seem acceptable. If it is lloyds then it is a very unprofessional service. I am going into branch both to find out what is going on and to complain about this.

I have received 3 calls this week alone; they have a name and some contact details but they are not mine. They claim that I MUST give them my contact details to remove me from their data base. When I challenge them by pointing out that THEY rang me so they must have the number on their records they CLAIM that they do not have the number as it is an automated line and if I do not give them my name and number they can not delete me from the list. The third time this happened again I refused and the caller got very argressive and said that this would probably keep happening until I gave them my details.

Just spoken to a lovely Welsh lady from Lloyds TSB. This number is false! Not from Lloyds TSB.... Lloyds TSB have no idea who this number is from.... and not to give any details out, at all.....

agreeing terms of repayment without basicaly an explanation why do i get them calling me and i'm in no debt what so ever what do i do agree to terms o frepayment, this happened before so i urge people to be careful because i threatened to take one to court and they soon stopped calling and sending letters. No matter what no one should be rude especially when trying to recover 'debt'

one asked for a male and i told them there was no person of that name currently at address so he asked for my name and d.o.b i said is that really revelant he was like i'm just checking i did not tell him my details but they are very sneaky and will try anything

I'm getting 3/4 calls a day asking for Gary Cooper which is not me and has never lived at this address or had my number as far as I'm aware as I've had it for 10years.

It's getting really annoying and no matter what I say they just keep ring. All they seem to be interested in is the last four digits of my phone number which I refuse to give.

Gary Cooper??? They cannot be serious.  Perhaps they only get old cowboy films in India. If they ring again tell them it's High Noon for them.

this IS Lloyds collection as i phoned the head office and my bank itself and they know the number as they get them to ring you on the banks behalf, i see where you are all coming from but they didn't ask for my bank details as they have access to only a small amount of your details.The lady on the phone proved it and if you call your bank and ask for details in relation to the phone calls and also give them the number they will explain more to you.

Even if this is something to do with loyds tsb I don't want to be speaking to an indian from a forien country

We have received a few calls from this number. As soon as as we pick up they hang up. Im glad i googled the number and found this Forum.

This is Lloyds TSB Credit Card Collections. I checked on here and with all the comments saying it is legit I contacted my bank directly and got put through to someone to help clear it up and stop the calls as whenever I picked up they hung up then called my Mobile which I refused to pick up seen as they had just hung up on me. I had missed a payment to my Credit Card through the standing order expiring but as soon as I paid through my bank I have not recieved another call. Best thing to do is contact your Bank and ask to be put through to the Credit Card people and you will be able to speak to someone British and even if you are having trouble paying it is better to tell them and they will help you out and stop the phone calls.

Lloyds TSB credit rating downgraded??
Maybe somebody will ring them wanting details........
