Did Maggie not say the call was for somebody not at her address? So how could she owe on her LLoyds CC which she did not have???? They have no scruples.......

I keep getting calls from these people.  They say they are from Lloyds, but I do not have a credit card...  It's getting a bit annoying as they will not explain what they want!

I am getting approx 8 calls per day from this number. They say they are from lloyds TSB, quite often they hang up on you. I have expressed that communications are to be put it writing only but still they call, surely this is harassment.??

I am currently in the process of making a case to Sue them.

Looks like these have started up again. Previous post on this list was 2007. This number has called twice in last 48 hours including today, a Bank Holiday. Caller asked to speak to a (garbled but unknown) name. I said no one here of that name (automatic response I have to such enquiries!). He asked (sounded a bit like a computer) what number he had dialled. I said what number did you want. He retorted "I do not have to give that information". I replied "Neither do I" and hung up. Wonder when he/it will call again, given that this is an ex-D number and also on Telephone Preference Service. Some people on this blog seem to think it is Lloyds TSB, others are adamant that it isn't. I might just call Loyds, but I doubt it is them.

I have had this rubbish for the last three months and they always ask for Linda Knight, I am sick of telling them that no-one of that name lives here and to take me off their list but they still ring at the same time every day. I don't know what these people gain from harassing the public. I am going to take the number to Lloyds and ask them once and for all

Every day, from 7 am - late at night. Nobody knows my number so I would love to now how they got it... I am negotiating with TSB regarding a CC debt, and have been for 7 years. As soon as I got my new phone, these stupid people started ringing me and know my name! I have NEVER been more harassed over the phone by anyone ever. FURIOUS!
I am writing to HUW JONES Customer Services, with whom I am in correspondence with regarding my personal matter and will include this in my letter.
And people - DONT stick up for these morons - I dont care if they are from TSB or not. This is not the issue, they are breaking the harassment law - simple. If I could go there and face them...I daren't say what I would do!

I have been recieving upto 5 calls a day from this number and they claim to work for Lloyds TSB, they have even contacted me at my place of work. The people who call all sound indian and keep asking for me date of birth and post code.

They cant even confirm what country i live in. Even Lloyds bank have confirmed this is a scam! Apparently it will even break their data protection rules if they give me the address of their building or let me speak to their manager. They wont tell me the purpose of the call or what department they work in.

They keep telling me to visit my branch but they wont even confirm where my nearest branch is.

I'mn finding this extremely upsetting and it is basically harrassment.

Sorry but this is the worst case of customer service ive ever come across in my life! i rang my branch and they even told me this was a scam, so if it isnt then maybe you need to work like a real business and communicate between departments.

I feel harrassed by the calls im getting. take a good look at yourselves and compare what your doing to what any other scam artist would do! And dont blame & add charges to your customers just because they have more sense than to give personal information to a randomer over the phone.

Your callers have refused to confirm the country i live in, to pass me onto their manager, to give me the address of the building they are working in and even to confirm the department they work in.

If you work for Lloyds TSB then i expect you to take me comments very seriously and forward my complaint. I want this to be followed up in you usual complaints process.

Twice or more a day I am having calls from this number.  I don't have a Lloyds TSB bank account let alone a credit ccard with them.  Very annoying to say the least

01273743574 has rang me YET AGAIN.  This time i rang the 0845600297 number that was given out by the recorded msg and was asked to key in my account number - which I didn't do as I have never had dealings with Lloyds TSB .  A foreign woman answered and asked for my account no., name, address and phone number - all of which I refused.  I then told her that these calls have been reported to the police - she promptly put the phone down.  These are so obviously fraudulent calls.

Looking at my BT phone bill and this number shows up. I remember I accidentally dialed them and hung up 1 second later. That 1 second has cost me 0.22p over my standard BT phoneline. It's easy to work out the massive expense of dialling this scam number in Brighton even for a few minutes. Never call them back.

For Heaven's sake, thats the 3rd time today they've rang.   I have no dealings with Lloyds TSB so why won't they listen  AAAAARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!

Had this number call me numerous times getting really annoyed as I am lucky enough to be in credit and I don't have a loan credit card or missed anything at all so someone needs to stop this stupidity especially when  last night it was 5 times within 2 hours!!! Lloyds, watch out people will not put up with your so called customer service calls anymore I personally see it as harrassment and if it continues I will call BT and report you as a nuisance caller!!!!! Oh and move my bank accounts!

This number calls day and night on my private phone number. I have a dormant account with lloyds and they have no reason to be calling me. I have asked them repeatedly not to call me yet contrary to the protection from harassment act 1997 they ignore all my requests.

I am therefore keeping  logs of all thier calls, one for the police, the other for me to use as evidence when I take them to court under the Protection From Harassment Act 1997 seeking compensation for the distress they are causing.

What a horrible nasty bank Lloyds is..god knows what they are like to thier customers having financial problems.

This is lloyds tsb collection service, they keep ringing me because i missed a payment. I refused to give them my d.o.b. so they told me what it is. You have to remember they want to check they are also talking to the right person and to be honest your date of birth and address is not the same as giving bank details. They do need to stop harrassing people though, they never stop ringing.

Had a few missed calls from this No. recently but answered one today.  A foreign sounding woman asked to speak to Tony Americano.  I told her she had the wrong number.  She then asked if I would 'verify'my number.  I told her that she must have my number as she had called me.  She said they had an automated calling system.  I told her to get lost and hung up.

Sounds like a phishing attempt to me.  I've never had an account with Lloyds TSB.

These calls are driving me mad! They even call when I am asleep. Wtf do I have to do to stop them harassing me.....I don't even bank with Lloyds FFS!

I get calls like this each day and the only way to stop them is keep lifting then hanging up or refusing , that way they will get tired eventually

even TPS is rubbish they cant stop overseas calls , about time the government did a crack down on this type of harassment from overseas
