This is NOT Lloyds TSB. This is a scam. I just answered a call from this number and the African bloke on the other end told me he was calling from DLS on behal of the Halifax

The calls have stopped and I have cashed my cheque but it did cause me genuine distress, which I am still feeling, etc.  Can I call you at work for you to process it?  If not, what's the best way.

I keep getting missed calls from this number, returning the call connects you to Lloyds TSB, I have been to a branch to report it .  they deny any knowledge of these calls   Ii always seem miss the call so I have no idea what they are asking for

This is just one of those useless foreign call centres, personally i dont ever deal with them, as soon as i hear a foreign accent i hang up straight away, its pointless trying to comunicate because you spend most of your time spelling words out for them (which takes up time i dont have).
If a company wants to contact me they'll have to do so via one of their uk bases.

Seems you can get a lot more than £300 if you complain the right way. Search for "Lloyds harassment taking them to court" on the consumer action group website. There's someone who got £500 and couting!

They are driving me mad as they keep calling and calling and calling for me to give them personal information. Am nervous as to how they got my number and e-mail as they are (am sure) the same people that keep e-mailing me pretending to be from lloyds tsb???

Yes this is Lloyds, bunch of [***] scum collection services. Didnt we as British tax payers bail this shower of sh*t out because they could organise a fu*k in a brothel. Only for them to turn their backs on the British work force and send their call centres to New Fuc*ing Dehli. Employing scum that dont even speak the Queens English. I got hounded by this bunch of low life for going 13 quid over my over draft limit, I counted 27 calls in the space of 4 days. FFKS they were questioning me as if I had personally stole from them and had then gone on to rape themand their family. COME ON LLOYDS DO US ALL A FAVOUR AND DITCH THE [***] CALL CENTRE lets speak to our own kind who can understand english, speak english and are english. But most of all are reasonable and logical, unlike the [***] in India.

A lady called asking me my date of birth and address, said she was from Lloyds Bank,
as the number was visible I thought it was real...
I bank with them so I gave her the info...

must admit she sounded odd, strange.

when I gave her the info, she then said it was incorrect and I needed to visit the branch,
wouldn't say why and was more than happy to terminate the call -

What just happened?

I get daily calls sometimes twice a day from an Indian man and a Philipino women called Elisa or so she says sometimes she calls herself other names.
They claim to be from Lloyds TSB .

Who in their right mind gives info to an Indian call centre? I dont give a f*ck who it is! Too many spam calls from call centres abroad coming to my home phone as it is. If it is Lloydstsb and they want to talk to me, they need to call from a local branch, ask for a call back and make sure its in Bloody English!!
