I too have been scammed by these con artists. Panicked me into agreeing a cheaper rate as it had gone from £250 the first year to around £5000 this time. If i agreed there and then the would reduce it. They then phoned today to talk about the other advert I have. This time they threaten to take me and my mum to court if I  did'nt pay. I have put it all in the hand of a solicitor. Am £3000 down and no chance I am loosing another penny

BTcustomer street did the same to us and billed us £500 one year and £3500 the next year i could not cancel it as it was a signed agreement and BT had me over a barrell

We only ever bill payments authorised by you by way of a recorded telephone call and a signed electronic agreement. The purpose of this process is to protect both parties to the agreement.

If you contact us directly, we can provide you with a copy of the call recording and electronic agreement which clarifies and authorises your payments.

It is funny how you respond so politly on the internet but not on the phone. It is also funny how you only record one part of the phone calls. Considering you dont do anything wrong there appears to be a ever growing list of complaints.

Further to your posting above, we do not just record ‘part’ of the phone call, we record all confirmation calls in their entirety, and also randomly record, and monitor thousands of other calls.

As a business we handle around 1.5 Million calls per annum, and whilst there is no obligation for any calls to be recorded or monitored, we do so in order to protect both parties to the agreement.

We have been recording calls since 2008, some 5 years, all calls being saved to the servers of our telecom provider.

If you have a specific query with a call, please let us have the date and time and we’ll do our best to assist.
