This number has called every day for about the last 2 weeks asking for my partner.  He works full time, so why do they call during office hours?? They won't speak to me and when I ask who they are or where they are from all I get is 'It's Jenny/Sasha/Whatever, it's personal, he knows what it's about'
If I didn't know that he owed money to a credit card debt these sort of non-descript calls could cause serious argument to someones marriage/relationship.
Someone suggested ,something I was reading, blowing a rape alarm or whistle down the phone.  Apparantly their nuisance calls stopped!!

HERE IS A TIP ON HOW TO STOP THESE CALLS GETTING THROUGH:

If your phone has a 'Blacklist' program, then simply put that number into this program.  Then, when the number calls next time, automatically your phone will cancel the call even before it rings.  The person who is phoning you will just hear a dead ringing tone.

You can search online to see if you can get the program for your particular make/model of phone.

The called my Mother!!!........ Asking for me, saying Hi its Justine can I speak to him its regarding a letter.
I phoned back and got the message call back during office hours

I've a new home phone number recently via Virgin Media - Due to the fact I have been recieving nuiscance calls!

They keep phoning and asking for someone called Michael Glover and asking if they are calling his address The Uplands in Runcorn, Cheshire - next time I reckon I'll say yes you are he's out at work right now!, and then proceed to change my number again via Virgin -> sending them further on a wild goosechase.

They never say who they are and the amount of calls I recieve is tantamount to harrasment - VERY VERY UNHAPPY - they should be made to explain which company they are - PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS AND TAKE ACTION

My call was at 5:30. I rang straight back and told out of hours also.

Just had my first call from this number. Call went something like this

Can I speak to ***********
Who's calling please?
Justine
Justine who?
Justine from Buckinghamshire
Who are you Justine? Are a friend of *********?
No
I'm sorry but we don't take kindly to crank phone calls and we are registered with the TPS. Who are you Justine are you a Company?

Well what's the name of the Company
I can't tell you that, Data Protection
Don't talk rubbish Data Protection applies to personal information not Company names.
She hung up

I rang the number back and got a recorded message "Our office is closed please call back during office hours"

I owe nothing to anybody, and Experian check shows that there is nothing attributed to me or this address so who the F*** are these people and how do you get rid of them?

Guess what 1 hour and 17 minutes after the first call Justine rings again

This time when she says it's Justine I tell her it can't be because I've just rung her and her office is closed

Had a call from this number, it was a message saying credit security rung me and would ring back, all of a sudden my phone rings and a women picks up asking for my ex partner, not by name just initials and surname? I told them he didnt live here anymore and asked me to confirm my address, i just put the phone down! This was out of office hours 7.30pm dont know who the hell they are and what they want, dont know how they get my number im ex directory!

Some divvy cow called mandy rang my sister. They were so rude! She asked for her mobile, of which i do not have on me (they lie...I lie) near tehn of the sentenceshe just said Ok bye and hung up. She sounded very rude! Stupid people! x

They called today and two weeks ago wanting to speak to my husband. They said they had sent a letter I open all the post and have not had a letter from any credit company. I phoned them back to ask them to resend the letter as we had not had it. Turns out they want a bloke name Kenneth Jones at this phone number told them no one here of that name. I just hope they do not call again.

Someone called 'Tracy Hill' calls from this number leaving 'urgent' messages on my ansaphone.

Ignore.

Now she's calling herself 'Janet Wilson'.....

same thing, calling herself "lucy gold"
pretends its a "personal" matter and refuses to give company name.

Lol ...and today she's 'Charley Webb' ....

They keep calling my parents' house asking for me and when they don't get through to me they hang up and call back another day, don't really care what it's for, I'll see if BT can block them.

I got one to and my husband has a mortgage with Abby and the minute he forgets to pay the mortgage they sell your number to this company. I have asked them who they are but they tell me they can't say the name of the company but when you tell them it's not againts the law to say the name of the company its only againts the law to say what the call is about they hang up on you. All they want to do is sell you a debt agreement that believe you me is not worth it!!! If you need any more info I'm on jnrharry@hotmail.co.uk

Found out they are a company chasssing debts for The Provident (or Provy as most people know them) long storey how i found out but i will catch my old friend soon.

Just received a call from this number today at 3pm, asking if i would call them back as it was very urgent. I haven't returned the call, just came online to see who this was. Mayb i will call them tommorow. I will post what happens.
