called once today and once yesterday. always in the evening. how rude!

Telephone answer machine showed a message. No message recorded as caller hung up. Dialled 1471and the number given was 01313012940. Checked number on Google and found website with comments from othher people receiving calls from this number. We are telephone preference and have been on our land line for over 10 years. Would like to know where they get the numbers from!

Im sorry but i work for a research company and TPS does not cover  reaserch calls, in fact in was set up with BT by a major research company! All exdirectory means is that your number is not listed it and most research companies randomly dial their numbers anyway! It makes me laugh how people get so worked up about recieving a phone call in relation to research, when these are the people most likely to complain about 'the state of the country' and yet are not willing to spare a few minutes to give their opinions! If this is your main worry in life i suggest you get some real problems, or carry on being rude to people who call, threaten to sue call the police whatever, at least it gives us a laugh!

I got a three missed calls from them last week, I didn't know who it was so I never called back. I spoke to them today and they informed me they were a research company, Ipsos Mori. It was actually a government survey relating to a crime I was a victim of some time ago. Apparantly a lot of their work is governmental. Although I did find it annoying that they kept calling, I did it, because besides the fact that it really grates on me when strangers call, I do think that it was an opportunity for me, mere mortal, to tell our government what I think. And it was a hell of a lot easier than lobbying my MP. The girl I spoke to was also very nice and completely understanding of the situation I was involved in. So I would suggest a certain amount of decorum, after all they are, like most, just doing a job.

I have been called by this number more than ten times now in the past two weeks, it is really starting to piss me off, you would think that they would get the message seeing as though i never answer the phone to them.

is there any way of stopping them from calling?

Haven't anawered yet but they keep trying my landline and my mobile at all hours and are right pains!

This number keeps calling even though I too have TPS. How annoyingly RUDE!! Half the time they dont speak on having amswered!

MORI poll - very annoying

Has been calling me repeatedly for weeks. I never answer but this is getting ridiculous.

01313012940 - calls everyday and 12:30ish every weekday. I have never picked up and never a voicemail left. It's a shame I'm in work and cant answer - I'm a network marketer and love these calls. I let them waffle on and then hit them back about the company and products i'm involved with (agelrevolution). They are paying for me to prospect them!!

Ive had a few calls from this number recently but, they just hang up when I attempt to answer. Must expect me to call them back FOOLS!! I seem to get these odd calls shortly after contacting Virgin Media Customer Services so, I'm hoping there not selling my details for marketing purposes or I'll just cancel my contract with them. Don't care if it effects my credit theyve got no right to do this

Got a call from them today at 12.45 but was at work... they'd best not be ringing me at stupid o'clock coz it won't be pretty!

They phone all hours and everyday.  They never leave a msg eitherso i never answer it when i see the number.  We are on the telephone service to stop nuisence calls but it doesnt seem to work.  I have caller id so very handy!

gladto know whom they are now...miught threaten them with the police if i decide to answer!!lol

01313012940 has called every day this week, along with two other numbers, this has also coincided with junk mail in an old name so seems someone has just sold an old mailing list, at least 5 years old.  Pity the people who paid good money for old data!

got a call today from this number said they wanted to know veiws on british army. when they rang last week i said i was not in their age range so could not help them. today surprise, surprise i fit into it. i dont want to speak to any non english sounding person about stuff like that, you don't know what they are up to. i hung up but am not happy about the whole thing. it gets you thinking all sorts.
