they have phoned about 6 times in two days not answered a single call i dont know they can go and whistle as far as im concerened im just waiting for mori to stop me in the street that person is goping to get such an ear bashing belive it

Wouldn't it be easier to just pick up the phone next time and say "I don't want to be called back. I am not interested".

They just hang up when I answer. Very frustrating, happens fairly often.

Caller keeps repeatedly calling my number.  My number is ex-directory so I don't know how they got hold of it.

This caller ID is used by the market research organisation IPSOS MORI and can be legally used for market research purposes, even though you are ex-directory and registered with TPS. The reason for this is that the number is randomly generated. To avoid getting further calls from them, request the caller to transfer you to their "supervisor" who will ask your permission to record your number as "do not call". Unfortunately this action only applies to the survey project currently under way, and your number may be randomly generated by another survey project. However, this is highly unlikely, given that each project only involves a few thousand people.

I wish this number 01313012940 would stop phoning, I view it as a disruptive nuisance call.

Telephoned on a Sunday afternoon by 0131 3012940. This mustn't be allowed to continue. Already have telephone preferencing in place.

Call received at 8.50pm from IPSOS MORI poll doing market research, asking if I had 5 mins to answer some questions. Told them I was ex-directory & TPS registered so please don't call again, only to be told that TPS does not apply to market research calls. Told her it should be & cut them off. What is the difference between marketing & market research calls to us as individuals? They're both unsolicited, unwanted calls that I have neither asked for or want, especially at that time of night.

I got a call from 0131 3012940 but before I could get to answer went off at 20.23 hours which is a funny time for research just glad i did not phone it back.

They carrying out survey they said.
Had no time to speak to them at 9.00am so ended the call. No further calls..

Had a missed call from them every day now for the past 2 week even though iv told them I'm not interesred yet the still phone me between 8.00am and 8.00pm time always vairies

Just has a call from them but when I heard the dialling tone, I put the phone down.

Me have um heap big problem with um Ipsos Mori calling um.

I am turning into a a PSYCHO due to these calls. THE BIRDS who keep calling me up - I think one of them was called MARNIE - are driving me mental. I CONFESS that I just keep saying I'm not interested but they keep calling me. Do I need to take 39 STEPS to stop them? I mean, don't they understand they have THE WRONG MAN? It's enough to make you think about DIALLING M FOR MURDER.

Everytime the phone rings I start slavering. And these fuds keep calling all the time. I'm lying here in a pool of my own slav. If they don't stop calling I'm going to drown.

Just got called from this number on my landline at half 8 in the evening ... such a joke! Just settle down for the evening after a veryyyy long day at work and these start calling! Absolute joke!!

received a call from this number about 20 minutes ago, when I answered the line went dead, obviously didn't want to talk to a grumpy old man!

Called today 5.40pm.  Scottish accent as Edinburgh office of IPSOS MORI.  Said they called my number (ex directory/TPS) from a random, computer generated list, not linked to personal information.  Claimed to be carrying out a survey for Health Protection Agency to gather information relating to winter flu and related vaccinations.  Stated that if survey completed they would ask for personal information such as name for future contact by HPA to be included in voluntary blood testing program, to be carried out by local doctor soon and again later in the winter flu season.

I don't think so! Bye!
