recieved call from this number last night at 8.11pm. never answer unrecognised numbers, and googled to find out area and found this. don't know how they've got my mobile number??

Just pretend you are eighty years old and don't speak any English. I kept saying 'No Englais, no' and the caller got fed up with trying to make progress and hung up. Obviously deleted me from their database because I haven't heard from them in ages.

Have just been called b this number at 8.25pm! bang of of order. I am with tps also.

Today I got an e-mail back ..... quote .....

This number called me first a week ago and I ignored it. It rang again the following day after I had read this sight and I answered by telling them i di not want to answer any questions! Both of these calls were after 8pm. I have just had a call from this number again 3,25pm on a Wed!!! hey are starting to get annoying.

OK. Here we go.

This morning I got another call from this lot. As I explained above I now have all the contact details.

I phoned 0131 561 4519 and spoke directly to Alex Thompson who picked up the receiver himself.

He apologised profusely and he, personally, would go through the company's databases and remove our number. His comment was that our number "could have been removed from one 'project' but remained on others".

So, if you have problems, call the guy. He is helpful.

Rang today, a Sunday morning at 10am. I couldn't answer it but identified the number calling (with 1471) as the subject one. Our phone numbe ris ex-directory so we don't expect anyone we don't know to call use using it!

Called today 17.13 & 17.16 nothing spoken or heard from the other end of the line Did 1471 looked it up on the web and found this

Rang twice today so far... and phoned on a number of other occassions also.

They asked me whther I would answer a poll on Life style issues, I told them that I was dying and that it was not a good idea. Well it's true, I've been dying for the last fifty years. give them crap back and they will stop phoning.

Sympathy to all who suffer this intrusion, but just give them as good as you get

The numpties have just called its the 3rd call in last 2 days. I said I was not interested and didn't have the time, so she persisted and asked if I could perhaps just spare a few moments to answer a few questions about something or another...

I said "what part of no do you not understand"

Next time they call I shall put them on hold and pretend another adult member is interested and ask them to hold, I'll waste at least 30 mins of their time!!!! (Or more if they continue to hold).

And to think I am on TPS also!!!!!

I read these numpties have some loophole to bypass TPS. Well I will have words with TPS if I find that to be the case!!!!

I was rung this evening to take part in a survey on NHS.   When I pointed out that I was registered with TPS and should not be rung in an unsolicited manner, the gentleman said it was a "random number" computer call, which I find very hard to believe.   I said I would not deal with this now, but when he rings back I will refuse.   I am happy to take part in surveys by mail, or even internet, but feel some privacy should be respected, particularly on an evening.

Got a call from 01313012940 today. Said they were from NHS. I understand they are from MORI. Whichever it is they are vermin and market research should be included in the remit of the TPS.

This number had the nerve to call my ex directory number on a Sunday morning at 11.19am. How do they get numbers or is it random?

Rang at 9:30 how have they got my number.

What has this telephone number and my wife got in common?

They both p*ss me off.

They called my mobile and landline at approx 20.15 tonight. Hung up.
It's harrassment.

i have recieved over 15 calls from this number to my mobile phone at weird hours of the day, how did they get my number and how do i stop this S"!T ?
