got a call from these Sat morning, my mobile has a brand new sim in, only friends and family have the number.... so how do they get hold of unlisted numbers or is it just lets ring any number and see if someone answers it!!!

Got call from dopy bird who kept stuttering she phoned twice in 10 mins, hung up when I told her she cant read the scipt properly, some survey about local health service, didnt get who the company was

Another added to blocked list.

Calls three or four times each day. Hangs up as soon as you lift phone. Nuisance call!!

This number has called my landline 5 times in the last 24hrs  (one on Saturday evening and four on Sunday).  Still to leave a message!  I'm with TPS and refuse to pay Sky £7.50 a month to block these nuisance calls.

Rec'd a call from this no. at 7.45pm on Fri. Did not answer and no message was left on voicemail. I am registered with TPS as I do not want cold calls. I feel the same as previous posts.

this is a call back from ipsos mori to check if you had a visit from one of there walkers doing a survey to make sure the walker actually visited you and didn`t just make it up

Another one to add to my blocked numbers.  I only give out my mobile number  and then I can block the nuisance calls.  This one rang three times in quick succession, that's harassment.

On Friday 10/6/2016, at about 6 p.m, my home telephone rang, but as I have an answering machine, I never lift the phone receiver straightaway. So, the caller/s hang up as soon as they realised that it is an ansaphone machine. So, waited one minute, then dialled 1471 on my BT Home Line, and discovered the caller's no.: 0131 561 4532. I noted this number down, and went on this Website to search this number. So, despite reading many varying comments about this number being either benign, (or Scam), etc. I realised that having an ansaphone machine is the best way for me to avoid receiving, or replying any UNWANTED PHONE CALLS.

Told this company for the third time in a day i did not want to take part. The guy asked me if i wanted to complain to a supervisor when i said yes he hung up

If you did not ask a company to add you to their calling list you should not have to ask them to remove you from their calling list, because you should not be on their list. Especially if you are TPS registered.

TPS does not apply to ipsos mori because screening would skew opinion poll results.

just had a call from this number but let it go to answerphone they didn't leave a message. reading through here it appears to be the opinion poll people ipsos mori. how are they still in a job they always get the result wrong. ban them now.

This number is Ipsos Mori who are a market research company who carry out surveys. Being registered with the TPS only stops sales and marketing calls. It won't stop calls from research companies. To stop any more calls from Ipsos Mori, email them at the address below stating your phone number and they will add you to their 'don't call' list. It normally takes just 1- 2 working days for this to take effect.

They called I answered, silence for a few seconds then they hung up.

This is a scam. I picked the call up and they said it was a survey for my local authority.
