Called by this number @11.16 today. No message left. And on a Sunday too.

Rang Sunday about 2:00 p.m., so thought it might be a personal called I'd missed. Changed my mind when I saw it was an Edinburgh number, so thought it might just be a wrong number from say Edinburgh Airport. Now I see these guys claim to be doing surveys. A  bit odd.

Perhaps don’t judge everyone else’s response by your own experiences. This number may well be legit with a functioning opt out, but in my experience most aren’t and “opting out” merely serves as a confirmation that the details are correct for the number they have, thus guaranteeing more calls rather than fewer. As to those “trying to make a living” in the semi legit (as opposed to complete scam) companies, if you take a job that intrudes on peso-let’s privacy in an unwanted manner, you’re naive in the extreme if you expect politeness. The TPS is run by the Direct Marketing Association and was never intended as anything other than a fig leaf allowing government to avoid regulating properly - as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Didn't speak as didn't recognise number. They just hung up. Phoned their number with a 141 in front and got an answer machine saying it was  IPSO MORI, now blocked.

I keep getting calls from them I just cut them of but they keep calling I have taken to screaming down the phone

Received a call tonight...8.30pm. They will be reported as it’s an unwelcome call and as I don’t know anyone in Edinburgh I wouldn’t answer the call. I am registered with TPS but it seemed to make no difference.

This number phoned me on the landline at 3 o'clock this morning - wtf?!
I NEVER give this number out (I don't even know if off by heart, I have to look at the note stuck to the bottom of the phone). The only people who know it are Sky (my provider) and my mum so how the hell are they getting hold of it??

My wife answered a call a few days ago from a guy who said he was conducting a survey on "life in Britain".  Unlikely, as we are with TPS.  I answered a similar call today.

Keep getting calls saying dwp doing survey. Told them not interested but still calling me on Sunday and tonight at 9pm. In bed for early start at work. Who do these people think they are! This should not be allowed! There are enough complaints on here so why are they still getting away with it. Tell your MP!

National student survey, so guessing Ipsos Mori. Call whenever they feel like without my permission and just expect me to take their call another day and want to do the survey

This number is definitely Ipsos Mori. The telephone number 01315614532 is one of the Ipsos Mori official caller numbers (i.e. the call comes to you via Edinburgh) and is on their in the first FAQ answer on https://www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mori/en-uk/approached-us-telephone

The lady telephoning me had a strong non-UK accent, I think probably Polish. Ipsos Mori is an international company, so with modern technology the person doesn't actually have to be in Scotland to telephone you from an Edinburgh number.
