These friut cakes keep ringing me. I have removed my answer machine and just let it ring. Soon enough they will get board and say that no-one is at that number. I screen all my calls and refuse to answer any I don't know.

Just had a call from this no. today  Thurs. 16.30. Caller display says 0141 2800563, called back to get message giving UK energy assessment company. Searched for the company and found one based in Bushey, Herts that was wound up last Nov., But Google gave the same name but in Glasgow, which led me to this site, but the number I went to was 01412800251, the thread stopped on mid Aug, and this thread started a few days later, same company based in Glasgow but different number. Fortunately our phone can block certain numbers, so should not receive any more until they get a new number.

I have reported this number to ofcom, we have call recognition on our brand new number, Ironically we changed our ex-directory number to stop these call and have had nothing but silent calls, recored messages from Debt Collectors (these I reported to ICO for misuse of data).  Sick to the back teeth with this bull****.  Thanks BT for being so useful and monopolising the exchange so I can't go with anyone else.  And yes I have also complained to ofcom regarding your monopoly.

UK Energy Assessment Company doing a "survey" about government grants for house insulation oh and by the way they'll do the insulation for you.

They call many times, often silent calls and they ignore the TPS and ICO.

We've started getting calls from this number today and our line was only installed last week!

We have had two calls from this number both times we were out, no message left.  Glad I googled the number will ignore if I get any more

You are lucky that you have only had 2 calls. they ring me every day when I'm at work and even today (SUNDAY) when I was out - no messages left and I will never answer the phone when I this number!!

I am getting numerous calls from this number. How can I stop them ringing me.

Does anyone have a successfull way of stopping these people? OFCOM! BT! TPS! All useless Have complained to them all but to no avail. Is there anyway of actually doing something that works.

Number called when I wasn't in. They left a "message", though, when I 1571'd. Lots of strange rustling noises followed by a hangup. Strange people.

50 Calls this week alone!

Had a call twice from this number on my land line and 1 on my mobile, when I answer they ask if my name and when I reply yes they hang up!!! When I called back it is an automated message saying they are some uk energy Assessment Company and leave your name and number to be taken of there call list! Not sure if this is a scam.
Think I will track their address down and pay a visit in person.

I have been having as many as five calls a day from this number mostly when I have been out.  I have just managed to answer a call, and it was a scottish accent wanting to sell me solar panels.  They say they are from some sort of energy assessment team and are offering me a government grant for solar heating.  He asked me whether I was under or over 75 and when I said under he said yes I would qualify.  I think he would have said the same if I had said I was over 75.  He was keen to put me through to his customer service team but I said I was not intersted and we both finished the call more or less together.  I did ask him not to phone me again but I am sure he will!
