No message - they hung up on me!

I had a long conversation with a woman who had called from this number today, about solar panels. I couldn't catch the name of the company. UK energy?
She said she was just establishing I fit in the age group and that if I was interested a salesperson would contact me.

08/04/13 15.02.  Called when I was out.  No message.

Had a call sunday they spoke to hubby, asked some questions then said someone would ring back in few minutes which they did.  They then tried to get him to accept an appointment for someone to come round and see about solar panels on monday night.  Luckily he wasnt going to be home and said so but they were persistent that they wanted to come and said what about tuesday, might not be home then, never know when i'm going to be home.  Such pains and no way will i see anyone at home without him being there.  

Have had calls today and yesterday from 01412800317, assume its the same company as they said they would call again to arrange.

Who are these people, energy assessment or 1 solar energy?  And why would they want to come all the way from Glasgow to fit solar panels in the midlands?

Phone again today, hubby answered, they are in area tomorrow between 2.30 and 7.30  hubby said cant guarantee being home so no point, lets hope they got the message now.

Just received phone call from 0141 280 0563......all you get is an answer machine saying "Thank You" and then it disconnects.

These people are a real pain. I have just been called by them once more. They don't take the hint and one has to become ruder and ruder to get them off the line. They do no research (if they did they would know that I have both solar and wind technology installed) and pay no attention whatsoever to the Telephone Preference Service regulations.  A bunch of nasty little parasites trying to con people into some sort of sale.

I received a call from this number at 11.11am this morning. I said " hello", short silence, followed by a cheery "Good-bye" from the caller.

I bought a CPR call blocker from Amazon last week, best forty quid I ever spent, if a telemarketing call gets through the various features then you just press the black button on the top and the number is immediately barred from ever calling again, if they do call back they get a tone like your phone is disconnected and your phone does not ring.
Wish I had bought one years ago. It also works for withheld, unavailable, international and VoIP calls.
These jokers have just called me, I zapped them with the black button safe in the knowledge that they can never call again.

As you bought it from Amazon, you should be safe.  This company claim to offer the unit on its own and also a "service" which monitors your calls.  Unfortunately, they hide the fact that there is an annual fee in the small print and it is almost impossible to find.  This happened to an elderly friend who thought she was just buying the unit and only found out seven months later that they would be taking an annual fee.  Unfortunately, they also took the annual fee at the time of the 'phone call, which was 5 months before it was due.  A "Kevin" from CPR disputed this on here, but went strangely silent when I pointed out that my friend's bank statement showed when the money was taken.

I'm getting at least 2 calls a day from this number. It's a prerecorded message.
How do I stop getting these calls?

Why do we get these unwanted calls even though we complain about them nothing seems to be done to stop them. What is the point of the TPS registering if ofcom take no notice of all the complaints which are being registered on sites like this one

Have had calls from this number before - UK Energy Assessment I think which just seems to be some marketing scam or other. Sometimes a human caller and at other times automated,

rang last night 1830, no msg left.

Several calls per day over a period of 3 weeks

Unintelligible Glasgow accent, could not tell who it was

Just had a call from this number no one replied but I did get an automated "Goodbye"

Call from William - 01412800563 - UK Energy Assessment Team asking for Mr Tosh. No person of this name at my number. Hung up.  Reported to ICO and TPS.  Keep reporting them but they still keep coming. More and more every day!

Just had a call 11am Sunday morning from a Scottish woman asking for me by name.  Something to do with UK energy.  Have been with TPS for years. Will report to ICO
