Mr Gerry Barton I have on excellent authority is about to open for business in Grimsby.
Nothing wrong in that but check out the following;
Premises are 5 or 6 Humber Street Grimsby, rear of a brothel,,,,,,uhhm.
Used to belong to several failed businesses, Roofseal Roofing, Roofseal GRP, Miller Hills, Limpet Supplies,then check out Garry Lewis, Chris Miller, Clive Lockwood, Andy Penny etc.
Lewis and Miller were directors the other guys I understand employees all of whom have since gone, but what a set up, these two couldn't build a lego set never mind a business.
Anyway Lewis and Barton are about to venture into a joint venture which no doubt will be a scam, so be very wary.

'Justice4all' Thankyou for your comments. Come Monday, Gerald will be lying on a sun lounger not giving a damm about the Gainsborough staff that he is sending letters to, which they will recieve with Saturday morning's post, informing them that they haven't got a job to go to and that they probably won't recieve their final payment.

Gerald you should be ashamed of yourself and for all staff that have lost their jobs ask the Office Manager (Miss Genna Toyne) why she didn't tell you either. She's known all about this for some time and about the new company, as well as all the dodgy dealings. But as we said before she must have been getting paid too much to care. We have been informed it is well in excess of £500 a week.

As we have stated previously anyone that makes comments like that must have all the inside information to know what is in the public domain and what is not.

To all Readers, the article below makes it appear that Express Law were being helpful when they contacted the Society of Will Writers in Lincoln. What the article fails to mention is that the ex employees of Minster Legal Services are the Directors of Express Law, Andrew Young, Martin Smith and Jonty Trotter.
Two of these Directors (Martin Smith & John Louis Trotter) used to work alongside Gerald Malcolm Barton in another Will Writing firm in Sheffield that was closed down due to scamming the Elderly and Vulnerable.

AROUND 1,000 confidential files relating to people’s wills were dumped deliberately on the doorstep of a Doncaster legal firm after a rival company closed down.

The files, containing personal and confidential information, had to be recovered by officials from a trade body to ensure their safekeeping.

It is understood they were left on the pavement outside Express Law’s premises on the West Moor business park at Armthorpe for about an hour before being safely gathered up by the staff from the Society of Will Writers, which is based in Lincoln.

They say the shocking incident has highlighted the need for will writing firms to be officially licensed.

The files contained personal information, much of it relating to elderly and vulnerable persons, which Minster Legal Services - a will writing company based in Gainsborough - obtained from clients.

In many cases the clients had paid thousands of pounds for wills and trusts which they have never received.

Minster Legal Services, who were not members of the Society of Will Writers, ceased trading in March this year when their sole director David Hodgson, a solicitor, died unexpectedly.

Representatives from Minster Legal Services dumped the files on the street outside Express Law, allegedly because some of Minster’s former employees worked there.

Express Law contacted the Society of Will Writers as they did not know what to do and could not accept them, so the Society arranged to collect the files for safe keeping.

Minster Legal Services had a national network of consultants selling wills and lifetime trusts, and in particular targeted local charity groups in order to sell their services.

The Society has written to all former Minster clients whose details were contained in the files to inform them where their files are and how the Society of Will Writers can help them.

The Society has also recovered hundreds of original documents which many Minster clients believed they paid the firm to safely ‘store’ on their behalf.

“What is of greater concern to the Society is that many of Minster’s clients, having paid several thousands of pounds in many cases, believe they have a trust or a valid will which in many cases they do not,” said director general Brian McMillan.

“We are trying as much as we can to help those who have been relying on this company. We have sent a letter to all of them, explaining that if they want us to qualify the documents we are happy to do that free of charge.”


Anyone who had dealings with Minster and has not had their completed documents should contact the Society.

Once again we see the 'bent' financial services are a lot worse than a london "window shopper".
I would strongly urge people to sign these petitions.
And Barton... we always know exactly where you are,  enjoy. ;)

Most of that law is already on the books, i think there needs to be a couple more.
Specifically the scrutiny and legal registration of will writing there.
Though this case is just plain and pure fraud so already covered.

To all Readers in addition to our last post regarding the Express Law Directors we have it on good authority that John Louis Trotter is still connected with Gerald Malcolm Barton after they were seen on several occasions meeting up together, so for any future clients that are reading, if you are in any doubt if you should do business with Express Law of Doncaster we hope this goes someway to making it easier to decide not to. PLAY IT SAFE GO TO A GOOD SOLICITOR.

Has Mr Trotter fallen out with Andrew Young as most people seem too? or maybe he didn't like being told what to do by his side kick.
Or maybe he has always been loyal to Gerald.

If they are current staff then surely they would side with KW?  All KW is doing is getting the truth out there - the truth about the company that has apparently just stopped your employment by letter and didn't even have the decency to advise you in person!!!

I would suggest any sharp tongues be directed at the person/people who employed you and then shut up shop without notice, and not at someone or people who are trying to help.

I just told you a way KW could have inside information without working there, I'm not saying this is how KW knows, but it's a possibility and there are probably many other ways. I'm not KW, KW can vouch for that :)
