I have to agree seen as genna is answering any questions why were we told to say we have in house solicitors and working out of a bt phone book. We were under the impression Joyce was a solicitor and the office opposite ours was legal dpt but she only had the same as Emma a law degree! Without a solicitor the wills,lpa,ppt and lpa are worth the value of the paper they are written on, but you know that already. Our office managers pockets are lined well she recieved in the line of around 800 as a member of staff saw her wage calculations plus 3% of the weekly net sales.  No doubt genna will have her job waiting at grimsby. I appologise sincearly to all those people I have made appontments and sales with no doubt much more than what got Put on the board. Sales have prob been consistant but they have slacked greatly with loss of consultants over the past month is that just bull so they had an excuse to move and pocket extra money themselves so many questions to be answered an genna plays a great nieve card Proper poker face.

Gerald barton was at the premises of mercury house today when he saw 3 of the staff he spun the car an drove off so not on a sun louger yet personally think that's a cover up an he busy sorting grimsby, or maybe making use of the brothell behind it! Why is it taking so bloody long to get this guy and those that have helped him x

we did hav an inhouse solicitor draftin up the documentations and wen joy tuk over i was told a solicitor was workin alongside the company wich i ad no reason to doubt. as for my pockets bein lined, i drive a renault megan wiv an exhaust hangiin off as i cant afford to fix it wich staff can all verify and a house wich is rented and  PLEASE ask the person wot week they saw my wages n il show them my payslip! as they r very mistaken!!!!
as for my job at grimsby, y dont u sit and wiat for me everyday! sure ul get bored when im not there. also about sales, if this was the case you are claiming about 3 people was scamming you, as not only i, but the admin receive email of sale amounts and documentation from consultants, so if i was lying so r they! believe it or not, even though i was office manager, i am sat here now not knowing who to trust and having everyone i classed as loyal leaving me judging them as i have been judged this weekend. no one knows who to believe, whether im in on it, or their in on it behind my back. so many accusations from different people..... were all paranoid but i havnt made n e claims personally. as for my NAIVE poker face come check it out when im signing on......ps please leave your name next time so I know who u r, as one of my x employees surely u could deal directly with me instead of hiding on here and making your comments.

And let me guess KW  when deep throat was on last night offering jobs for all ~ it had nothing to do with either of you?

So you didn’t think it was important to tell the staff that your company was expanding to bigger better things, Strange most companies jump for joy and involve their staff of events such as this.

If there was enough funds then why have staff gone unpaid?

Can you tell us why the Police felt the need to investigate in the first place?

What  didn’t you know?  if the advert was going to be placed or not? (confused ), who placed the advert?

We have it on authority that you have been working for the aforementioned company since the beginning (Since 2009) how can you say that you didn’t know, are you telling us that you have never dealt with upset clients that have visited or called to the premises because we are aware of many that have.

Seems you need to direct some of that anger towards the man that has put you in this predicament, if your as upset as you claim!

123 Thankyou for your comments it has been something to get our teeth in that’s for sure, yes we wanted to close the business down and were sure that everyone that has been ripped off would be pleased about this also, and why you wouldn’t is beyond our comprehension.

We did not intend on the innocent employees to be affected by all of this and we can not be held responsible, but it is a sad fact that it’s always the innocent that get hurt.

Lol Thankyou for your comments. We have it on good authority that Gerald Barton was at Mercury House yesterday and then went up to the Gainsborough Golf Club. He then went to Morrisons and purchased a bottle of Red Wine, whilst his driver (Anthony Taylor) purchased a bottle of Gin and a few other items such as bread etc. Seems that they are celebrating with the staffs wages! We will endeavour to make sure the culprits are caught.

Who was the Solicitor working along side the company? surely you knew their name!

And we find it hard to believe that you have never questioned any irregularities within the company, as there have been many, in your time employed by them since 2009, why is this?

The clients also feel 'Who do we trust? Do we trust that kind person on the telephone?' “yes they seem so viable and believable” or the Consultants in their pressed suits and expensive cars “ yes they’re being so kind giving me all this free information and coming all this way”
These companies prey on the Elderly and Vulnerable.
Now you know how they feel.

We, and we dare say the majority on here, have little or no sympathy that the business has closed.

This scam has been going on for 10 Years or more (just with Gerald Barton) and it has only really had press coverage, not many have been able to shout about it like we have. We would like to thank www.whocallsme.com again, if it wasn't for this forum, and the people posting on it, we wouldn't have been able to spread the word and gather so much information about the culprits. It has given people a voice.

The culprits will not give up voluntarily but rest assured they all will be forced to give up as they will be caught up with and brought to justice.

It would appear that the mojority of this Blog is directed towards Gerald Barton. What about Graham Croft and Matthew Appleby/Appleyard? Are they both involved in this mis-selling practice ? They are the two main people at the National Legal Assistance Tele Sales Centre in Newark. I believe that Matthew is to become a Director as well. (he may be able to upgrade his Ford Fiesta now)  Gerald Barton was also spotted 3 weeks ago being driven by Croft at the Newark Office.

Why is it taking so long to bring these people to account and have them struck off.

It is also interesting to note the high turnover of tele sales people - obviously they have a trial period and if they dont make the grade they get booted out.

Is this office going to be closed down and when?

our in house solicitor was david hodgson and neisha was doing her steps course whilst there also. i do not know the name of the solicitor running along side i never needed to know, y wud i? i had nothing to do with that side of things. u make out i should know everything, i was not the boss, i ran 2 groups of people who made calls! who said i never questioned the irregularities, coz i didnt say that.i did question when andrew and martin left, and the admin, and the name change, and why gerry didnt come to the office n e more....... all got answers for that i was satisfied about. as was all employees when i told them. the clients can trust the people who called them as all they did is tell them the truth. explained about the cca, then asked if they would like any more info. whats wrong with that, dont start on them! consultants in their pressed suits? what should they have wore, jeans or trackies? and expensive cars....ha ha ha, if u knew your stuff you really wouldnt have put that! and no symphany just shows how u just love the attention of this forum as ppl have lost their jobs through the compnay shuting down! no symphany.... guess you dint no 4 ppl were getting married nxt month, 1 person is trying her hardest to take a well deserved holiday and not forgetting christmas round the corner. what we done wrong to not deserve no symphany?
