No one answered a previous question.  Did Ms Brooks advise on that failed ombudsman complaint? Not that I would suggest that the outcome would be different but the complaint missed loads of issues and my view is that the way it was made was poorly done.  This has not helped at all.

No she did not its my complaint and it was done through a solicitor well advised it was a straight forward complaint between myself and ceding providers which is a follow on from complaint rejected by ceding providers

think Downs would be ridiculed less if he gave a straight answer to a straight question (the few CO members who have called him say he either doesnt answer the phone or the questions).He should be sending out regular updates in writing to members with hard facts and clearly stating what progress has been made and why the accounts/valuations have not been done and the rent recovered. problem is Downs represents the very people who caused the problem in the first place and isnt independent so hardly surprising nobody trusts him

Opinion has made a very valid point. Unfortunately those that claim to be helping are only helping the people who created this scam from the outset. Simple questions never get answered, updates with positivity are very forthcoming and this forum some 200+ pages in continues with the same old posts. Downs and his followers continue to defend their position with no real substance and the circle goes on "around and around". The people behind all this should be placed behind bars and all the Capita Oak members should be compensated. The rental income has been stolen and the Capita Oak members money is locked in a dodgy storage firm which we all know is ran by a totally corrupt con man. This money is not yours whittaker, time you paid it back

I am not aware of any member who says he didn't answer the phone or in turn return their call nor not answer the questions...
Should a certain firm decide to man up and answer some really pertinent questions then we would all have the answers we really wanylt

think one thing Downs could do to help is to confirm whether ITSL had insurance and what proposals it has for compensating the victims, in fact thats something everybody could call him about and report back as to what he replies

ITSL was set up as a scam, no insurer would touch them. People can point fingers all they like about who did what, the only party responsible for this is ITSL as it, apparently, is the trustee.
