The transaction may have been done as a loan, via a completely different company as any payment made back to someone in respect of their pension is deemed an "unauthorised payment"...
Their way of getting around this I woild suggest...

so if we are able to get some funds back how would we have to receive it? Would we be taxed on anything we got back?

I have also had response from my previous pension holder who said they carried out enough checks into Capita Oak and they believe it was true transfer. Has anyone got any paperwork with a scheme number on or a reference number please. You can email me at jewitt8668@gmail.com

The addresses you should write to are below. Just try and send a clear worded letter of what exactly has happened and copies of any documentation. They both have different roles, the Pension Regulator being the most powerful, and both are investigating the case. As for any win/ no fee Lawyer, I think is probably a waste of time as they wont have any power to do anything if they cant contact them.

As for getting any money out, the best hope is through the Pensions Regulator freezing the fund and appointing an independent Trustee (ie a reputable company who will wind up the scheme). And Remember that would only be a start - the next and difficult thing would be for them to try and sell these storage things and I cant see Storefirst being exactly helpful in this matter.

No nothing. I was thinking. As our money is in Storefirst can we not individually issue a claim via MCOL ? If they do not respond we can issue judgment and enforcement and if they do file a response we get a court hearing
