Having spoken at length with Brian re this whole mess , I really do believe he has been caught up in this naively. A good character taken advantage of.

Take your point, Paul T is much more diplomatic than me.  However, I am dealing with some hard facts and unpalatable truths i.e. 300+ people have been defrauded and their pensions put at serious risk by people with no shame, pity or conscience.  Happy for Paul to be more popular but at the end of the day all that matters is securing the victims' pensions and getting the fraudsters the justice they deserve.  And perhaps a combination of both approaches is a good thing.

This man has been involved with many a scam do not believe for one moment he has naively walked into this.

He is well know from dealing with wine fraudsters to convicted killers.

He is known as the go to guy for dodgy people in and around Bromley Kent.

Just look up his previous clients he is a liar and more fool you for believing him

Unfortunately one is judged by the company one keeps - whether clients, associates or friends.  Downs should publicly dis-instruct himself from Perkins and Fowler.  It is not credible that he hasn't realised by now that they have conned 300+ people, and several hundred more in Westminster that had the same employer: RP Medplant.  Those assets have totally disappeared.

I really do not have to defend myself against you but I can assure you all that when we discover that a client has committed any wrong doing we cease to act . Then you dare to state that we have acted for a convicted killer ,if you can then tell me who it is because I certainly do not know.if you do not want to state it here then send me an e mail. If all this cash was invested in storage pods then that is a lot of storage pods, so where are they? I thought it might explain the rapid expansion of Storefirst - TW would logically need to open more centres in order to supply that number of pods. BUT, when I did a title deed search for one of his centres I only found two pods registered with the land registry. It was not easy to track them down either because of the address formats. I think the trustees of Capita Oak should get copies of all the deeds for the properties they "own" (although its a 250 year lease).

If there have been problems with the registrations, TW is blameless. Its a all an unfortunate conveyancing issue caused by the solicitors (not JWK).

If Storefirst goes bust then the pension scheme owns leases of space in warehouses that probably have little residual value. Worse still, if someone wanted a warehouse on an industrial estate would they want to negotiate with a hundred separate owners or just buy the vacant warehouse next door?

The fundamental question here is why they decided to invest in Storefirst, and I think the reason was that all of the backroom parties in this are connected (TW, SCC, Mike Talbot). The "IFA" types are another layer in the onion earning indirectly through commissions.

TW, SCC and MT have been friends for years.  MT has been director for a few organisations with TW and SCC worked with TW in his Dylan Harvey days.

Just reading your post again...if TW only has two pods registered at one of his centres how on earth is he selling so many pods? and how can there be gauranteed rental income on pods that are not registered with land registry? and when store first does go bust (trust me it will in the next year) how will the pension scheme have ownership if these pods do not allegedly exist?

You may well be right , after all I believed the liars that scammed me!!!!!!

We know which areas of the country were used...example, Storefirst Castleford (or similar I'm working from memory)..biggest problem is that they are not segregated accounts...who's pod is who's. ..unknown...apparently a lot more are still being sold as we speak...

The decision to invest 100% in Store First was apparently taken by Alan Fowler (as confirmed to James Hadley). Fowler claimed he was seeking "counsel's advice" on the investments. Ward received 3% commission on the 10.8 million transferred into CO plus the 1.22 million that didn't go through Metis Law so that means Ward was paid 433k. If he hands that back to the members that will pay for the valuations and proper independent accounts/audit.  And leave plenty left over for solicitors' fees to bring Transeuro to justice?  What do you say Stephen?  And if Christopher Payne puts back the extra 10k he stole without Perkins'/Fowler's permission plus Metis Law relinquish the 31k they are sitting on there will be plenty in the pot to sort this mess out. Get your cheque books out chaps!

No, he met up with people who knew how to work the pension system. Blair screwed the system up and Cameron is up for the challenge to screw it even better from April. Apparently, the Government is now going to get Citizens Advice Bureaus to give pension advice. They have a couple of months to learn what a qualified pension consultant would take years to learn.
If the Capita and Westminster organisers get away with this, they will be making hay for years to come.

We think CAB will merely tell confused people what their possible options are and hopefully point them in the direction of a qualified, regulated adviser, insured - not the introducers and con-men that were behind Capita Oak and Westminster et al.
