Good man - used notes in the post for mentioning CPR Call Blocker ™

Keeps ringing, this time was 9.35pm, recorded voice saying, you can write off debts, I dont have any, I am 65 and dont even have a mortage, just my pension income, I am with the TPS but it doesnt make any differance, and if you press 9 to cancel, you still get the calls, I have been pressing 9 for the last 12 month,( dont bother),and if you think it will stop if you change your number,(WRONG) tried that 12 month ago, and started getting them again on my new number, and i hadnt even given it to anyone, within 1 week of changing they started, I am EX Directory as well, BT SELL YOUR NUMBER, I have a contact at BT and was told about it.

Sick to death of these companies .They should be banned !!!

Male british automated voice called 10am 27/02/13.

You may be entitled to compensation for a recent accident blah blah blah...press 5 to speak to me 9 if not.

I'm absolutely sick and tired of these nuisance calls, isn't it about time somebody ANYBODY prosecuted these damned companies.

As it is an "0151" number somebody must rent/lease this number so surely THEY are just as much to blame for not stopping it??

My call this morning was a recorded voice message telling me I can claim thousands of pounds for injury (THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD - touch wood).

Press "5" to speak with someone or "9" if I am no longer interested in making a claim. I'VE NEVER BEEN INTERESTED IN MAKING A CLAIM!

Just what is the point if no-one is going to prosecute these companies???

Got this call today. Debt write off.
Didn't press any buttons i.e 5 or 9, That's how they make their money. The call would be charged at Premium rate.
Its a scam.

2nd time in two days, same recorded message - write off 70% of your debts !!! Absolute rubbish ! Am getting seriously ticked off with these thieving scum.
Instructions in message to press 5 to speak to someone or press 9 to have your name removed from their lists. -DO NOT PRESS EITHER, I STRONGLY SUSPECT THAT IF YOU WERE TO PUSH EITHER NUMBER, HIGH PREMIUM RATE CHARGES WILL IMMEDIATELY BE APPLIED TO YOUR TELEPHONE BILL.

2nd  I have had this call

Yet again I've had calls from this number.   I'm reporting every one to the ICO, but so far nothing seems to have been done.

Argh, this number keeps calling me. Reported via ICO, not that I expect them to do anything useful.
There needs to be huge fines for this kind of thing.

Recorded message to a business line registered with TPS debt write down over £10K - press 5 to talk to a time waster called Kevin or 9 to be ignored and/or added to another automated dialling list.

Call themselves the Debt Response Team but refus to give out any business information which is illegal.

Will complain to TPS and the ICO.  For all the good it does...

I don't know who this caller is and I don't want them contacting me again.  If people can't leave a name DONT BOTHER CALLING ME!

This number called my mobile. I didn't answer as guessed scam

Received automated call (male, English accent) to ex-directory number, claiming I had opted into receiving calls of a financial nature. (NOT) Debt-write off service inviting me to press either 5 or 9.  Did neither and hung up. Irritating time wasters for most -  but could be frightening for some.

on answering, automated message started re writing off debt. I hung up

Another call from this number. Will report it ICO. I have already written to my MP concerning nuisance calls. I suggest everybody else does the same. Response I've received contains

"We have written to Maria Miller, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, asking if she would investigate the matter and address your concerns."

Correction. As no message was left on the answer phone I will report it to Ofcom!
