im sick to the teeth with these calls ,why dont they leave us alone and go out n enjoy themselfs , sooner they get stopped the better for us all

Got a call from them on my mobile - which Ididn't answer.  Good news is my new phone has an internal blocked call feature - to which they have been added (Samsung Note).

Neither have I how did or have you stopped them?

this type calls = had six calls from last week
can not do any thing about this is what I am being told by BT they advice to register with with TPS, no joy there also
I have decided that I will get rid of the land line

why do the calls always stop before you get to the phone?

I keep getting called from this number only to find it is a message offering me debt services. I am on TPS but this seems to make no differnce

We are TPS registered and received a call from this business - i shall be complaining to the TPS immediately

wouldn't bother if you ring the 0151 number they call from you get another recorded message saying press 9....

The best way of stopping these calls is True Call.....   No.. I don't work for True Call.  We got so fed up with these calls and trying to explain to an elderly relative what the calls were about, we just had to block them some how. ( got very desperate )  Have been using True Call for two years and it works fairly well.  About 95% get stopped.... the other 5% get lucky and managed to press the right keys to break through.  Very pleased with the system so we got one ourselves.
Since our True Call is newer we are able to block even more.  Sorry to sound like a sales rep... but it really does work for us.   I know I am sad!!  But.... in the evening you can check who has been trying to get through and haven't.   It gives you a feeling of power and you are back in control of your phone.     I must get out more and get a life!   Once some one has phoned you can then sap them!!!!!

missed a phone call this afternoon @ 15.13 from 01519091965.  Luckily I checked this site so know what to do next time they try to contact me.  Usually dial 1471 anytime I have been away from the house or check the 1571. Thank you for all the info posted above.

Called an hour ago. We let all calls go to answer machine unless we recognise number from Caller Display (If they're friends they'll leave a message and we can interupt or phone back - saves being unpleasant to nuisance callers!)). Unusually, this smooth operator, gave chapter and verse although did not identify himself or his company!

Here is exactly what was said (recorded I think):

Recorded message said I could be due £3000 compensation etc and invited me to push 5 for details.. When I did so and immediately asked for the Company name and phone number, they hung up.

Have had several similar calls, but perhaps not from the same people.

got this call and checked out on number checker. ''debt solutions company'' random call. reported to ICO. Advice is to report calls of this nature at all times in order that action can be taken by themselves in a timely manner.
