Interesting this, that Staysure Ins appears at the top of this list!!  I went online to several insurance company sites for comparison, did not take up with any looked at and promptly started receiving calls from 01519091965.  Luckily I have a call minder and am just registering they are ringing frequently, however they never receive an answer.  When I start getting a number repeated I look it up and usually report it like this in the hope that all of the annoyed in the UK can stop these scams.  Here's hoping

Debt Response Team who tell me I have opted into receiving these calls (I haven't!!!)

I've previously opted in to this "debt reduction" message, have I? I don't think so somehow - in fact at no time since I got the block of numbers of which the one they called is part have I ever opted in to such a thing. It's on my blacklist now, so won't be disturbing our phones again.

Registered with the TPS for many years and have Truecall system - and still they get through - on way to ICO to report this call they claim they will do something.

I have been registered with the ChocolateTeapot (sorry TPS) for many years.

There seems to be trend of these scum using real numbers or at least apparently real numbers with the one from a 0161 a couple of days ago.  Are they actual numbers or faked numbers?

I can never be bothered to answer calls from numbers that I do not recognise as I have "caller display". Despite being with TPS, these nuisance calls keep on happening.

This number comes up regularly and quite frankly I wish they would sod off!

0151 is a Liverpool dialling code, where do they get my number from????

I missed this call and did the 1471 thing so found your list of complainants as I too am  debt free.
I'll take your advice and complain but I am not hopeful it will stop these annoyances

Third call in three weeks - two whilst we were on holiday. (I checked the calls list when we got home.) Today I just let the recorded message waffle on, on loud speaker, about writing off 70% of my debts over £10,000 (what debts? - I'm lucky enough not to have any) then when it had finished hung up. We have Caller Display so in future I will ignore it.

I have already registered ages ago with TPS and am fed up with messages from this number. when I spoke to somebody they hung up after refusing to give me their company's name.

Got a call from this number I pressed 5 got a guy on the other end Welsh accent gave me a name, I could not understand I asked for an address. He said "Cardiff" I again asked for an address. He said "I did not need that". I said "I did" and he hung up Liverpool code long way from Cardiff ( SCUM )

Getting pestered by this one. What use is TPS?

Another recording re money matters GRRRRRRR Have a really ill person in the house and don't want to get these calls.

The ICO are useless and you will tend to find that whilst they seem to take complaints seriously if you ring or email them though, As general rule they will do very little barr write to the Company concerned and request that they do not contact the person who has complained to them, The TPS are only concerned with the year end profit share the Directors take each year for doing nothing at all.

Being realistic here the only way to stop these calls is to either never input your details anywhere online or let the phone call go through in real time and see what it is you are being offered, Should it be debt help, accident claims and so on you should say that you need the help being offered and then once you are put through to the Company via the phone call wait for the call from the 0151 or 0161 number to be put down and then explain that this call was made to you without your prior consent and that you want the full details of the original Company that put the call through to whoever it is you are talking to - Make sure that you have gathered enough information first though ie:-

You receive a phone call
Play along and say you want help and give a false name
Once you get put through to the next Company then ask for there full details including name, website and a contact number in case you are cut off, Once you have all of this then tell them that you do not need help but you do want the full details of the first Company that called you, They have to by Law give you this information.

Then go back to the original Company and write them the following letter.

Dear Sir's

I am writing to you in relation to phone call/calls made to my number 00000 000 000 from your Company and want to know why you are ringing me constantly and also where you sourced my details.

The UK Legislation states that in order to make cold calls you must have a full opt in statement and also run your calling lists against the TPS data base, I am registered with the TPS ( If you are that is ) and it is quite clear that you failed to run the correct checks here prior to ringing my number as listed above on the 00/00/0000 at 00:00am / pm, Please explain this to me.

Also I want to find out why you are ringing my number as I have never given your Company my prior consent to do so and as you should be aware UK Legislation states that this is a requirement when cold calling members of the UK population.

You have wasted my time and effort here in order to put a stop to your Company ringing my number and I want a full explanation as to why you are doing so.

( You should keep a note of all costs here from a phone call to printing and postage as they can all be claimed back from the Company that was ringing you )

Add any expense that you have payed ie:- phone calls and so on:-

I also require all of my costs to be returned from your Company otherwise I will seek legal action against your Company. ( list the full costs here £0.00 )

I look forward to receiving your earliest response against my complaint and failiure to do so will result in me taking legal action against your Companys as of the 00/00/0000, ( Give them 14 days )

( Please also note that the Company you are writing to may say that they want a fee of £10.00 as a SAR Request, ( Subject Access Request ) Tell them you do not want a SAR request but the details as outlined in your letter above, They cannot charge you for this.
