I've had missed calls from this number twice in two days, when trying to call back it's permenantly engaged....

any ideas?

they rung again today and decided to talk I ask who they were, apparantly Financial connections. I just asked them not to call again and put the phone down

They have called me two days in a row- I dont answer because I am at work ad when I try and call back the number is always busy, very annoying!

i had a call of this number today they ask for me personnally then asked for my partner by his full name and it was on my mums house phone who i dont even live with i havent give tis number to any one but it is an insurance service as i rang it back and couldnt really hear it as there was alot of noise in the background but it really puzzled me?

i had calls from this number 4 times a day for the last week or so, i have reported them after telling them a number of times im not interested. its a financial company asking if i wanted life insurance! if they keep calling you say you are reporting them as a nuisance and they stop, thats what i did and have not had a call since. i have reported them anyway

everyone who has answered the phone to these people need to check your phone bill as they may of charged you for the called even though you didnt make

someone is calling me from this number all day long,but when i call back,nobody answers.its driving me crazy.

The number comes from the Northwich area of Chesire. Last week I contacted a local primary school in the area (with the same code) and left my phone no. for a call back.............. however somehow this SAME company you all mention above, has obtained my number and keeps calling every day. I find it a BIG coincidence that it shares the 01606 code that I used for the first time last week. Has anyone actually manages to speak to them and found out what they want????

we are getting tomany dalls everyday starting with 016 we told them no but we keep getting calls

they called me but i missed it how did they get my number?????

I had a call from this number late on Bank Holiday Monday night. When I asked who they where and how they got my deatils the line went dead.

This number called me yesterday, for the first time as far as I know.  However another number with the same STD code has been phoning me for a couple of weeks.  The other number (01606595892) is also listed on this site as a nuisance.

I answered and spoke to a young English lady who attempted to ask for my daughter who hasn't lived with me for several years.  She attempted her first name 5 times and still got it wrong then made a complete mess of our surname.  I told her that there was no-one of that name at this number, that the phone was in my name and I wanted my number taken off her list.  I also told her that as I currently have a broken foot I have difficulty getting to the phone and do not want to be called again.  We'll see if she paid attention.

I get a call every day from this number  -  on picking up the phone no one answers and phone goes dead  -  call back this number and it is continually engaged - any suggestions how to stop this number calling ?  - I am already registered with TPS

So they phoned me this morning as well. Asked for me personally, and when I said "speaking", it just went dead, as if they put me on hold. I waited for a few seconds and then hung up.
They obviously just want to annoy us, as they don't seem to want any business!

And being on TPS doesn't seem to help anymore, as I've had a few calls recently saying that they don't want to sell me anything, it's just a quick survey.
We have a 3 second rule at our house - if we answer the phone and they don't speak within 3 seconds, then we hang up. Friends and family now know to be ready to speak when they phone. haha

Just had a call from this number too...  Nobody there when I answered, and it's engaged all the time if you phone back...
