I've just had my random call from this number about 20 mins ago - has taken me that long to read all through this thread lol

I've emailed Cheshire police (as per Rob's info) to see if they want my details on this, or if they want me to report it to my local force (who happen to employ me!).

They just rang me and asked for me personally, without responding to their questions i asked who they were and they said Financial Connections.
I said the person they needed to speak to wasn't in and they said they'd call back - as if i am going to talk to them.
Dialled 1471 after call ended and found it to be this number, i have already received several calls where they've let the phone ring once and hung up or been silent on the other end before hanging up - am sick of these people getting hold of my details and thinking i will be interested in the crap they are not even trying to sell most of the time, completely and utterly pointless.

Hubby phoned me at work with this number, they wouldn't talk to him.  Finally got through to the answer phone.  If you ring 08450560451 it is an automated service they should take your number off their system.  Just done it so fingers crossed it has worked

requested removal from their data-base 19/9/08 and just had another call from these muppets. they always seem to manage to put their end down before i can answer and give them a volley of pure abuse. SHAME...

Just had a call from them now, freaked me rite out and really pissed me off as im waiting for a call from my husband in afghanistan.  They just hung up straight away and i didnt know who it was? Tried calling back but engaged so decided to google it, looks like im not the only one!!

this company has been calling my phone all day they have been rude and will not stop calling. If any one can advise me who they are it would be much appreciated

glad to inform you that my husband has managed  to give them abuse back which the guys did not like very much and blew a whistle down the phone .we are now waiting for them to call back as he enjoyed it.

I keep getting calls from this number and each time I answer, they hang up. when I try to call them back, they're engaged...??? Strange!

my husband answered but they wouldnt pass on a message they insisted they talk to me but i was dashing off on a school run.they said theyd ring back but didnt.they said they were express direct???????? who are they?

they have rung again my third call but not spoken this time.now i know who they are im going to contact the telephone preference thing.

Just had one call off these. They claim to be a company called 'Express Direct' and wanted to sell me life insurance.

Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 016-066-4583 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

I know this doesn't help too much but it isnt the company above that is just a sham front for telemarketers that's why you can NEVER GET THROUGH!

This is the actual company I believe who is making the the calls, well, this is there registered address [***]!!! they must think we are completely stupid if anyone is in the area please go round and give them a damn good hiding please, I would do it personally but im up in Newcastle!

i actually work for a local newspaper and these people are calling our office up to 10 times a day and i have them all on record. i shall be reporting them and naming and shaming them. if anyone has an actual name for the business and contact number for them to speak to someone at their business please let me know. thankyou.

I've had 7 calls in the last 2 day from 01606 45839. So I googled the number and found this form.

Just phoned the number above to get my number removed. The chap on the other end said it would take 24 hours... The clock has started!

we've had two calls from them today so I  googled the number and got here!they hung up as soon as my husband picked up the phone. Thansk for the number to get it stopped and will try that

This number that has been calling us all is driving me insane!! Its 8:30pm and its still calling me! Nobody speaks so i put the phone down....This time however i lost it and swore at them (bad i know) It has been going on for 2weeks 5-6 times a day then on a night & its all becoming like that film Groundhog Day for me!!
